Just got an update from UPS, my XB1 is scheduled for delivery tomorrow between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM anyone else get this?
I have no idea what this means...but I dont want that happening, haha. Im making the jump from COD to BF4...might play COD later, but I think I want to give BF4 a shot. I had played the previous version a few times, but never felt it...so there is a chance I may not be a fan again, but Im burnt out on COD, so I welcome the change of pace.
I also got bf4 but I always skip the COD made by Infinity Ward and just play the black Ops game for 2 years.
I hope you don't confuse the new Infinity Ward for the Old Infinity Ward (Now Respawn Entertainment). They (Old) truly made the best COD games. COD 2 + COD 4 + MW2 > World at War + BO + BO2
I think you're forgetting the original CoD which was created by Infinity Ward (Respawn), not to mention that the abomination that was CoD3 was created by Treyarch. I skipped every Treyarch game until the original Black Ops (I played World at War once with my little brother, I thought the graphics were awful and the game was meh), and I didn't even touch Black Ops' multiplayer (the singleplayer was incredible). New Infinity Ward sucks, but the real Infinity Ward invented Call of Duty, and if it wasn't for Modern Warfare anything after that would have never even existed. Not to mention one could argue it was all downhill after that. (I definitely didn't like MW2 as much as I did MW. By the time MW3 came around it was just watered down and boring.) He's definitely mistaken. Cod4 grabbed me in a way that I haven't been with a shooter since (other than Halo: Reach). I definitely feel like Titanfall is the next one like that.

Weird, mines is already shipped. Did you get the overnight shipping? From what I read about the PS4's, a lot of people were saying Amazon shipped the overnight orders first. The extra Amazon orders are the ones they were holding for defective units. Sony told them to go ahead and sell them, that's how they got extra units for sale. Amazon sold their extra Xbox One Day One Editions yesterday morning. Looks like only me and Surfguy was able to get an order in.

I just walked into a gamestop and bought one. This has to be the least hyped console release in recent memory. Are you guys seeing the same in Houston?
I put an ad out on Craigslist for the Xbone for $100 over and have zero hits. On my PS4's, I've had over 40 emails.... It's frowned upon here to resell consoles, but it shouldn't be. $100 extra and these guys that purchased it from me didn't have to wait in line all day or call around/run from store to store to find one.
