of course the Rockets can win with Lin scoring 1 pt. All they need to do is have Howard shoot 75%, Parsons 70%, and Jones 62% every night.
Houston in: Avery Bradley Courtney lee Jason Smith Boston in: Omer Asik Isaiah Canaan Jeff Withey 2014 2nd (from Pelicans) New Orleans in: Kelly Olynyk Greg Smith

I like the idea but Orlando has Vucivic. Asik to Cleveland Bennet to Orlando Gee and Afflalo to Houston. Unfortunately Parsons or Harden need to step up their defense if we're ever going to be a good defensive team. I think you need a defensive stopper in your starting lineup. Parsons needs lessons from Battier.
Ok this is something i would like to see first trade dmo/brewer to boston for courtney lee second trade smith/brooks to charlotte for bismack biyombo third trade asik to atlanta for millsap. gives us a wing defender, a stretch 4, and a backup C
rockets in bargnani Shumpert Knicks in Lin Asik rockets get perimeter defense wing & a backup center/PF... he has shown he can D up Howard and hibbert yesterday, could have used TT with him on dirk yesterday because of his height and length. can't happen until dec15th
this is a horrible proposal. asik is worth both shump and bargs plus more. Lin is likely worth both shump and bargs as well.
Afaik will not get that done, bags Is no scrub he is a big lady of their offense and like I said has Stopped Hibbert & Howard. dmo + Lin May get it done but if Lin goes into a slump before dec15th that won't be enough
dont get it twisted. just because asik has been benched and has had an outburst recently he is still a top 10 center and likely top3-5 defensive center in the league. GMs around the league know this and since supply and demand controls value, we know that Asik is even more valuable. bargs has had a decent going so far this season, but it doesnt mean all of a sudden he is a brilliant player. the last few years he has been one of the WORSE nba players in the league. His shot has been falling recently and thats good. he played decent defense against hibbert and dwight. thats nice, even though neither center are offensively gifted. but you dont go jumping on a players bandwagon after a few games. in that case jones would be an all-star. as for shump, i have said numerously that i feel he is over rated and over hyped. His defense WAS really good. but this year he has looked slightly above average at best. maybe im wrong and havent watched him play enough this year, but he is like the nifty device on infomercials. $20 for some cheap thing thats actually worth about 5-10 bucks.
Have no problem with respecting your poisoning but when you say bags played DECENT defense against Howard & Hibbert (2 of best centers in nba) I can't have a discussion with you if you are a basis, he locked down Howard on national tv, embarrassed that man hand everyone talking show chuck even dream ! could have been a fluke, but was no where close to decent!
What about Josh Smith, he plays defense can play the 3 or 4 spot, hes also good friends with Dwight so the chemistry should be there... Not sure what Detroit would want for him since they just signed him.
Houston In: P. Millsap, R. Rondo Houston Out: Asik, Lin, T. Jones, D-Mo and rights to Kostas Papanikolaou Boston In: Lin, T. Jones, D-Mo, rights to Papanikolaou Boston Out: Rondo Atlanta In: Asik Atlanta Out: Millsap Houston gets a top flight PG (albeit with fit concerns) and a PF with range and decent D all while keeping caps pace for 2015. Boston gets quite a haul for Rondo to help with rebuilding (maybe throw a lottery protected #1 as well). Atlanta gets C that allows Horford to move to PF.
