By far the worst loss of the season

 

I use to get on here and comment with my brehs in game time. Thinking we gonna do big things but this team has big issues (coaching). Now I stay the **** away of this mess.

 

the first Clippers loss was bad

 

The game was lost dut to the poor defense at the 4th quarter. Simple as that.

 

If a team keeps playing poor defense, then it is usually the coaching's fault.

 

Glad I didn't watch the ugly collapse 4th quarter, what's wrong with this team?

 

I go to sleep when they are up 17 and wake up to find out they lost by 3. I'm glad I didn't watch the whole game and lose out on sleep due to anger. How many blown leads does that make? After the Texans debacle I don't think I can stomach another Houston team under performing.

 

So I couldn`t watch the game since it was too late here in Germany. However I have LPB so I could just watch it today - should I or would I just throw my laptop out of the window after the game?

 

Watch it, but turn it off with 3 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.

 

Tough loss, but there were a lot of positives to take away:

1) Parsons, damn. Disappeared in the second half, but he looked ridiculous in the first

2) D-Howard, for the most part, made quicker decisions which led to his best offensive game of the year thus far

3) Casspi & TJ continue to impress me, solid PF rotation on the offensive end

4) Garcia finally made a 3

The loss is definitely hard to swallow, but I think it was just a few mental (and coaching, unfortunately) mistakes in the final 8 minutes that led to this loss, plus Dirk was unguardable in the 4th. Forget about it and move on to Minnesota.

 

That's not luck. Dirk has always hit those kind of shots. This game was lost because everyone including the so-called coaching staff thought the game was in the bag once they rolled up 18 points. They quit playing defense (did they ever start?) and stopped moving on offense. And yet again, Carlisle out coached McHale (which isn't too hard to do). For three periods the Rox were murdering the Mavs in the post so Carlisle had them collapse into the paint, smother Howard and play zone defense and once again the Rockets were totally mystified. No, luck had nothing to do with the fact that this coaching staff and team doesn't have a clue how to attack a 2-3 zone. And if you thought last night was bad, just wait until San Antonio clamps down on them.

I also blame Mchale dude waited until we lost our whole lead and the Mavs were blazing hot to put the starters back in , we could have easily pushed the lead up and made them remove their starters if he moved earlier. we scored 101 in the third and 7 minutes later in the forth we had 106 that's why we lost that second unit gave it away and Mchale I don't know what he was thinking

 

This lost still hurts and I'm going to say this again nobody is freaking killing harden for missing the FT if it was dwight this site would of crashed

 

Relax. Dirk is HOF. Ellis can go off like that and if it was a surprise to you, you haven't watched basketball for very long. Two playoff teams played, we were on the second night of a back-to-back, they were at home. . . . It's not that bad of a loss.

 

Probably because Harden's already getting a lot of heat for chucking up bad 3-pointers and playing ISO-ball again. Not to mention playing almost no defense. It never should've come down to that free throw in the first place.

 

Why do yall always say (You haven't watch basketball for very long). What does that suppose to mean? How do you know how many years a person on here have watched basketball?

It was a disappointing lost period so fans, have the right to be a little upset. We choked away another game down the stretch. This should have been a blowout victory.

Dallas out scored us 36 to 19 in that 4th. That is indeed terrible

 

Chandler Parson missed that point blank layup. Shouldn't he be blasted too? Lin missed wide open shots, so shouldn't he blasted too?

 

Tough loss.
