Harden just let Ellis run right through him all game long. Might as well have a doormat guarding Ellis.

"If we're gonna be where we want to be, tonight's a game we should win." - DMorey

Welp, guess we aren't gonna be where we want to be. :p

According to people here he is a star/superstar. and not sure if trolling but obviously you expect more than 1 point from a player you're paying 8 mil.

You can only do so much, but show promise, show that you can get the ball to the hoop, he just wasn't doing anything tonight.

Houston played 3.5 quarters of great basketball. We looked super dominant out there, everything was flowing well. Just had that moment that just went downhill. Lin wasn't exactly missed tonight, our defense was. and the other team just shooting lights out like they usually do was a problem.

i don't think we break Zone defense well. Rick is kinda intentionally let us break it early of the game. Weired. Mchale is like a clown.

chill out people, the mavs just executed really well in the 4th and we ran out of gas at the end. no big deal, lin had an off night(back to back woes), but dwight, terrence, parsons were fantastic in the 1st.

Ellis abused Bev almost the whole game. Hell nobody could guard him tonight. I want a defensive minded coach again

Majority of the blame goes to the starters and the bench contributed to the loss.

Those last minute plays were god awful and I think its the fault of either Harden and/or McHale. Not 1 shot went in the last 2-3 minutes. I think the only pts we got were free throws and Harden blew the game tying one.

We are not going anywhere with this defense. Are the coaches blind?

Blaming Lin is a habit around here. It's not just CF members, it's everyone. In fact, this will probably be the front page of Bleacher Report tomorrow.

"debbie downers" say rockets play zero defense.

impossible to win with that mindset.

More importantly, Paul George is a two-way player. I don't know how you could make a convincing argument that Harden > PG right now. I ride for Harden, but it's PG and not even close (for me).

I guess Mchale sticked with Beverley in first half a little long because it worked quite well with the starting unit and Lin didn't get the minutes he usually got. However, Lin's scoring and creating ability was definitely needed in 4th when the offense was stagnant. Wouldn't be a significant downgrade in D either if you watched the game and saw how Monta schooled our guards later in the game
