Frustrated with this loss but haven't gone off the end. I REALLY believe this....Asik is taking up space on the bench...he is a LIABILITY. He doesn't "fit" and his effort is going to be lackluster as he doesn't care. He already requested a trade and wants out....the body doesn't obey when the heart isn't in it.Not hating on Asik...he will not be a contributor. Hope I eat those words but that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

 

No way. Melo is actually clutch.

 

McHale didn't have the guts NOT to draw up a play for Harden lol....

Relax, guys. This is one game out of 82 and several of you are going overboard. Look at the brightside, at least Dwight hit his free throws. This game would have been over a lot quicker if he doesn't hit those free throws.

 

Don't blame Lin for this loss.

 

Huge Lin fan here saying straight up he lost the game for HOU tonight. With his shot attempts he should have scored at least 1x 3pt, and 1x 2pt + 1x FT for 6 pts at least. Would've been more than the game difference. :\

 

That was a mother****ing embarrassment. There is no other word for it.

 

Lin is treated like a bench scrub of course. TBH Lin couldn't build any momentum.

 

Well, maybe this will get Morey going to pull the trigger on an Asik trade. I do think this team might need one more piece.

Why draw plays up for Lin when he is 0 for 5?

 

the heck happened? All key players on any team gets to play through shooting slumps because overall they'll help win games smh mchale...

 

This loss sucks, but Mavs shot lights out in the fourth, many of them contested.

Just one of those nights.

 

Could not stop Ellis and Dirk at all down the stretch. Hot shooting + bad D. Those two guys are good, but not this good.

 

Yes he shouldn't have went away from his rotation that was winning him games F Omer Asik.

 

With the exception of Casspi, the bench was just bad with Asik back with that bench lineup. Lin was totally off. He never got involved with the offensive flow at all. Bev was off in the earlier games, and now it seems like Lin’s turn. Bev & Harden had huge back to back 3s that put the team up by 9 in the 4th, but then it seemed like the team lost a bit of focus again and Dallas crept right back in it. That last free throw miss by Harden was a huge bad miss.

Nice game by the starters. They clicked well for most of the game and I thought this was a “starter-centric” game that further helped them mesh, with the heavy minutes played all by them. I think it was Howard’s best game in the paint so far this season. Ball movement was nice at times, but the defense really needs shoring up.
