At least Kobe and Wade bring defense as well. BBall is two way game, offense and defense. He might be top two in offense, but he's bottom on defense = AVERAGE!!!

Damn BS no call at the end. Ball got sticky again and Dirk was just Dirk. Team needs to keep following the gameplan instead of switching to iso when things get rough. Thats exactly how Dallas came back to win it.

And please cut the Lin crap we were still up 101-93 when he subbed out with 9 minutes in the fourth we lost 123-120. Giving up 30 points in 9 minutes is what cost us. Seriously don't know whats wrong with some of the posters here.

The Rockets have had some rough luck in the 4th quarter this year. I'm gonna chalk this game up to that. Dallas didn't miss anything in the 4th. I'm struggling really hard to remember a jumpshot they missed in the 4th.

People need to chill out. We'll be alright, don't worry about Dallas, they have no future with that team. Just like the Lakers they are going to play us tough this year trying to prove that Dwight chose wrong. It's whatever.

First game Rockets have lost on a B2B, it was bound to happen. They are playing much better recently. They'll be alright.

He's always torched us, or at least it's always seemed that way. This isn't a recent thing.

Refs one this game for the mavs. We had the big lead in the 1st half and they started missing calls or given Dallas the benefit of the doubt. Those add up to a Dallas win. Don't get me wrong Dallas scored when we stopped but those missed/bad calls were the reason they won

While Dallas does deserve some credit for a lot of tough shots going in, there is this strategy called double-teaming that someone may wanna tell McFail about. Yes, Monte Ellis was killing us too, but Dirk was literally making everything he threw up there. Hell, at times he was just chucking it up there because he knew all he had to do was draw iron and it would bounce in. We could've and should've forced the ball out of his hands and made Ellis or someone else beat us. Instead we let Dirk bring them back. If you'll recall, the Rockets best stretch in the 4th was not surprisingly when Nowitski was on the bench.

You can't give up 36 points in the 4th quarter and expect to win games. It looked like the Rockets' gameplan was just to try to outlast the Mavs over the final 12 minutes. Even with a 14-point cushion, that's not a recipe for a championship. Just ask the '94 Rockets. Until we learn how to get stops, A SINGLE STOP, in the 4th quarter against an average ballclub, we're at best a 2nd round team.

Lol. When we thumped on boston, the game thread was like what? 52 pages in the 4th quarter?

We lose and look at this..... 102 pages? Wow....

In essence, this is what the Rockets are like without Lin. Lin pretty much didn't show up tonight. You won't see another 1 point game from Lin. That's very unlikely. So, this is what the Rockets look like without his contributions.

Lin got benched with 9 minutes to go with the Rockets up by 10. Blame the porous defense.
