i don't get why we're still b****ing about this. Lin is great coming of the bench sure he'd be just as productive starting. But it's what's helping the team the most.
Lin could go to cleveland and get 21 points jacking up 17 shots but what fun is that? It's not winning. Here he wins and gets to play with guys he loves in and out of the basketball court =)

And either mchale is following orders from maury like a good soldier or he has become really great at managing substitutions.

Agreed. Just like the comparisons to past PGs it's getting old. As long as we're winning it doesn't matter

I initally read that as "As long as we're whining it doesn't matter." I really need new glasses.

no one is b****ing. people are arguing which one helps team the most, starting or coming off bench. you believe coming off bench helps the most but other people think in other way. don't try to make them look like they care lin's stats only just because they have different opinion from yours.

just based on the current substitution pattern, lin is sharing the court with harden for same amount minutes no matter starting or coming off bench. lin is also playing same amount minutes with the backup no matter starting or coming off bench. you already said his productivity is same no matter starting or coming off bench. how could you come up a conclusion that it helps the team the most?

Well, Lin is playing great basketball and we are 8-4 (could easily be 11-2). Stop crying about who starts.

of course, you don't care whether rox could win more or not. only thing you are doing is to trash lin and his supporters.

Clearly as I've been giving Lin props in multiple threads today.

Well, this thread has turned into a train wreck. So if I say Jeremy has done an outstanding job coming in as the 6th man, and seems to be playing free and easy, with more abandon, which could imply that he just might be (gasp!) happy, does that mean I have a secret agenda? Because that's what I think. It's a great role for him and if in the future McHale decides that he should return as a starter, or if Beverley is out with a minor problem with the "i" word, we know Mr. Lin can step right in and start. Seems like a good thing to me.
