They're waiting on what the appeals courts say. I don't think it shows a particularly strong stance one way or another, as this was not decided on the merits. It was a similar case to Hollingsworth v. Perry this last summer where technical questions about legal standing were debated rather than anything close to the merits of it all.

In any case, all of this is over a temporary injunction that will stay the issue until it is resolved in a federal appeals court in January.

Hate to break it to ya hoss, the "abortion era" is here to stay.

But you guys keep working on that GOP women's outreach initiative.

BTW, you would have more credibility if you were interested in taking better care of those "babies" after they were born.

This will do nothing but help Wendy.

Yea, once the overpopulation becomes a crisis and we start seeing forced abortions, child limits, etc., this era will be a golden age.

No, what's cowardly is getting an abortion. That's cowardice, my friend.

Some part of me believes only a female has the right to say something like that.

Your argument is extremely easy to dismantle because the unborn baby has its own distinct genetic code that is generating growth from conception. Not only is there unique DNA but in 100% of abortions the baby already has a detectable heartbeat. Doctors will not even perform abortions until six or seven weeks into the pregnancy – in order to protect the health of the mother. The doctor wants to be able to account for and remove all of the baby’s body parts. If some small portion of the baby remains in the mother it could cause a deadly infection. The irony is lost among most of these so-called health care professionals.

So the woman who says “my body, my choice” is in the absurd position of arguing that she has two noses, four legs, two brains, two skeletal systems, and on average one testicle and half a penis. This kind of absurdity requires no further elaboration. It is nothing more than feminist foot stomping to assert the “my body, my choice” argument. In fact, it is unbecoming of anyone above the age of two who is similarly inclined to argue “my toy, my toy.”

No, I said that only a female can tell another female abortion is the cowardly way out. How can someone who will never experience child birth tell someone who is experiencing it that they are a coward for terminating it. It's like a civilian who has never been in a firefight telling a soldier they were a coward for crying in a firefight.

I'm not siding with either side of this debate, however I do find it insulting for a man to tell a female they are cowardly for wanting an abortion. Leave it to other females to tell them that. As men, we will NEVER understand what they are going through emotionally and physically.

It is cowardly and selfish. Period. Many abortions could be prevented if the woman (and man) didn't have sex in the first place. If you are going to have sex, you should be prepared to have a baby. Why don't you ask all of the people alive today if they are happy that they were not aborted?

Agree to disagree dude... I just have problems judging those whose situations I will never be in. Same can be applied to illegal immigrants. If I were in their shoes would I illegally cross border also? I would never know so I can't judge them. Some people, like you, can judge others when they know they will never be in their predicament. Not saying it is a bad thing though.

Again, it is easy for a man to tell a woman "if you want to not have babies stop having sex" while we can keep on having sex and not be worried about child birth.

    Ding ding ding.

The truth: if men were the ones that got pregnant, there'd be abortion clinics and pharmacies dealing 'morning after' pills on every corner.

With that fact in mind, if you think that the abortion debate has nothing to do with women's (lack of) power within government vs. men's power, you're kidding yourself.

If men were the ones that got pregnant, there'd be abortion clinics on every street corner. Morning after pills available in bathroom vending machines. No laws restricting abortion. The right to abortion would have been enshrined in the constitution, and any attack thereon would be considered a violation of personal freedom. Supporting a man's power over his own body would have been solidified in various world cultures for millenia. The country is and was run by men, and if you think for a second that they would permit laws that would force them to deal with the consequences of ****ing who they want when they want, you're kidding yourself.

She has the choice of what happens in her body. Her uterus is part of her body and she gets to choose what happens in her uterus. If she doesn't want to use her uterus to bring a fetus to term, that is her choice and you don't get any say whatsoever, as it should be. That choice belongs to the woman, her doctor, and her God.

Irresponsible to have sex in the first place, but responsible enough to raise a child. Got it.
