can someone clear up for me, can i play my xbox 360 games as is, or do i have to pay $10 for every title?
No, you can't play 360 games on the One. It's not backwards compatible. I don't think every title is upgradeable to the One for $10 through Amazon, MS Store unless you're talking about something else.

BTW, I think there are some embargoes for XBO coming up within the next 12 hours or so. IIRC, reviews for the hardware should be up by the end of the night, and I think either Forza or Ryse reviews hits tomorrow (I forgot which one, but the other should have its reviews the following day I think?).
I took my xbox and ps3 to gamestop to get store credit...I got an extra 30% if I applied some of the credit towards a game for PS4 or XBone. I asked them to choose BF4 or COD, and they handed me a copy of BF4....so that's my first game. Will wait for reviews before I jump on a second game.
PS3...got $78. 360 was $91. GTA5 was $35. Black Ops 2 was $11. And then a bunch of random games like a couple Maddens, NBA 2k13, Uncharted 3...which I got a total of like $15. So all in all, I have about $230 in store credit.
What 360 was it? $91 is tempting towards an Xbox One for me.... Ugh but I would be giving away my Elite Black Edition 360 I got since it came out.... ....
7.8 for Xbone and 7.7 for PS4...the battle begins...it'll be fun to see them continually try to one up each other.
Lol that was too close.... Although Xbox One does look a bit more promising.... I think Halo is going to determine where this console battle goes....

I was able to get one from Amazon this morning to arrive on Friday. Amazon's site was encountering technical difficulties throughout the process of trying to get one, though. It was messed up. It kept saying "an error was encountered" any time I tried to get to my cart (or checkout) and it kept moving the pre-order xbox one from my cart to my wish list and I would have to add it back. But, I guess they finally fixed the glitch as I was able to check out. About ten minutes of hassle to get one and I was in a few minutes after 7 am CST when they opened them up. I figured since I already have an Xbox Live account...this was the way to go and no sense in waiting other than early issues which may happen but Microsoft is pretty good at fixing. So, I have a Xbox One and a DirecTV Genie free upgrade all happening this Friday. I'm totally tech smiley face geeking out at the moment! Woo hoo! The only thing I don't have is any Xbox One games but I guess they are already available so I can just pop into GameStop to get one or two.
