I like everything about it so far but I've barely scratched the surface. PSN: RAZCAN if anyone wants to play pee-pee games with me.
Game? Do you mean the console itself? Or is there a particular game you're looking for? You shouldn't have issues finding any of the games really at a local GameStop. As for the console itself, I'm sure there's 1 or 2 hiding somewhere. As to where those may be I couldn't tell you. Your best bet is to go to a location (or call) and ask to be put on a waiting list. That way when they do get one, you'll be contacted first. Added you.
Brought my PS4 into our office today. People seem pretty impressed. The Playroom always seems to get the attention of people, even though the tech isn't really that new. They seem really impressed with the visuals in FIFA, NBA 2K, and Killzone. Most of the gamers really enjoy the new DualShock. Haven't had a chance to check it out myself, but two of my co-workers were playing Knack via co-op, and I think it is a lot more fun that way.
Watching some videos online...definitely seems like co-op is the way to go with Knack. Granted, Ive only watched like the first 20-30 minutes of the game, but it seems like I'd want to play with a friend if I were to play that game.
so i bought one on saturday at a gamestop since it was the last one there and they actually had it still - not sure if I should open it up and hook it up or just hold onto it and resell around christmas time. I play games but not that frequently - i really just bought it because it was there hoping to resell it and make a small profit but i am also open to keeping it if its that amazing. I played BF4 on my buddies PS4 and it was great but what game(s) really take advantage of what the ps4 has to offer over the ps3/360?
NBA2K14 is arguably the best looking game on the console. Killzone is up there as well. I would say those are the two biggest ones as far as graphical fidelity. I can't say it's "amazing" right now. If you don't play often and you're happy with your ps3/360 I would say wait until better games come out. As is I'm happy with mine, a lot of the next gen features are quite cool. Being able to leave a game, go to the music app, then the web, then back to the game and pick up exactly where I left off is pretty cool. It's already saved me time in a few places over a 360 going into the Netflix app (and picking up on a movie where we left off).
The launch lineup was pretty weak for the PS4. Aside from BF4, I'd say the next game that takes advantage of the PS4 is 2K14, and Killzone, although Killzone isn't as good as BF4. I made ~45$0 profit selling 3 PS4's and 1 Xbox One. Required very minimal effort (just craigslist ads) and that money alone essentially paid for my PS4, so I kinda got it for free, in a way.. I think plenty of stores will be getting them in stock soon, so you may want to sell asap...
Well it's about 50gigs, so yeah it took a bit. You can play while it loads...you pretty much only are allowed to play quickplay (heat vs spurs) but it works.
Nba2k14 has jokes. My team was playing terrible defense and I said dood after the opponent scored. The refs gave me a technical foul, rofl.
I got the free game deal from Amazon. They emailed me saying I'd get it on the 25th. I signed up for the Prime Trial to get it within 2 days. Who do I complain to? I demand satisfaction.
