No, I'm not siding with Schaub in the Schaub vs. Andre dust up....lol

I've always been a big AJ80 fan. However, we're not going anywhere this year, and AJ is still playing at an extremely high level.

Anybody else think we should look to deal him? Could likely get good compensation from a team like Carolina or Indy (barf....in division, makes it less likely)

I'd trade him to a contender. Dude deserves a ring, it's just our idiot management can't piece the right players together and play modern day football.

I'd start fresh and dump everyone except for Case and Watt.

Case won't stay here.. I think they made it clear that they are drafting a QB today.. they don't think that Keenum will be an elite QB

The problem is, we wouldn't get high value for him. Getting a high round draft pick means the team we're trading him to is probably rebuilding. And contending teams probably won't trade us any big names either, because they're contending and have chemistry already in place.

I wouldn't be mad if we did, he doesnt deserve this. Carolina, pats, seahawks or 49ers seem ideal fits

I suspect he'll request a trade this offseason.

Do you really think Keenum is capable of winning a Super Bowl? Because he hasn't won a game yet... I'm all for Keenum over Schaub but do I think he's our savior? no.

He definitely deserves better than this organization.

It would be a travesty if Johnson doesn't ever get to play in a super bowl, much less win a championship, during his prime years. It's bad enough that his stats are not as good as they should have been with Kubiak and Schuab dealing him the short hand for all these years. I wish we could trade him somewhere for him to get a ring, because he flat out deserves it. No question.

I don't know enough about Keenum, and I would be fine with them drafting a QB. I'm just saying the people who don't believe in him won't be around next year.

Not worth trading Andre. Anquan Boldin went for a 6th. Maybe a 5th for Johnson?

NFL trade dead line was over 2 weeks ago, so no.

    The end.

If Dre gets traded it should be to a team that can get him a ring. The Texans have crapped enough in his career as is, after he has given everything he has to the city of Houston.

Only way I would ever trade Dre is if he asked because that's the kind of respect I have for him, if anyone deserves to be a Texan for life it's him, and if anyone has the right to be frustrated it is him. I would clean house 5 times over before getting rid of Andre if it came to it.

If you clean house, AJ is probably a piece you'd look to move. Get some extra picks for him.

I actually just logged in to say I wanted to start a petition to trade AJ. I don't care who was right or wrong in that dustup with Schaub. Schaub can't hold AJ's jock strap and has absolutely NO right to open his mouth in a negative way towards the man who got him a brand new high dollar contract that he clearly didn't deserve. The guy who has stood by his side time after time when he has thrown a game away with a stupid decision or interception. Send AJ somewhere where he can at least compete for a ring. He is at the tail end of his illustrious career and deserves better..so much better. Free Andre Johnson! Pity watching him waste his best years with a noodle arm quarterback and a coach with no balls. Dre's numbers are great, but Keenum showed the world what Andre could have been without David Carr, Matt Schaub and Gary Kubiak.
