    This guy is the 76ers' version of Doc Rocket. Not sure about his credibility but it seems that he has a good reputation there.

    Smart gm's are not going to offer their best package for Asik and are gonna try and make morey blink first, I would be surprised if Hinkle has even brought up thad

    Forgetting for a moment that that guy should not be mentioned in the same sentence as Doc Rocket, Young is someone I personally thought about, but kind of rejected.

    It's not so much that he's not good. He is quite good and would provide an upgrade. But rather, he's not worth as much as Asik in an open market. If anything, he's one of those players many pegged the Sixers trade away as part of their tanking plan.

    Therefore, the Sixers would have to include a pick in this deal. Young+pick for Asik. But why would the Sixers want to give up a pick given their tanking movement? It would have to be a 3-team deal here if Young's the central piece.

    Id rather have a 4 with better range. I'm not seeing Young as a huge upgrade over Jones or Motiejunas. $9M / year to boot.
