Either Lin or TJones. Hopefully TJones can keep this up.

The overwhelming response for Jeremy Lin shows how underrated he has been by most folks on this board

I bet the 25 that voted for T-BOMB (as I'm typing) are basing their vote off today's game.

Lin has been fantastic all season.

Lin wasn't much of a surprise. I expected him to make the jump and he totally met those expectations. Casspi on the other hand came out of no where. He's playing for the minimum.

Parsons (offense). Because he's adding more dimensions to his game. His handles and off-ball movement have been superb. However, I did expect more from his defense but that hasn't really showed unfortunately. He has the capability of playing hard nosed man defense. Not really doing it.

If you've read any of my thoughts on Lin the offseason, while I certainly didn't expect such otherwordly efficiency numbers so far, the way he played was what I expected. I said that if last year was down due to health reasons, he can improve a ton this year. Lin's skillset is still the same from last year to this year. But his shooting and mentality were what held him back. That's easily improved. What Parsons has done, IMO, is not as easily forseeable.

Or they're the ones who are being kinda hipster and saying, "oh Lin technically isn't a pleasant surprise because I KNEW he'd be good this season -- just look at how he played post all star break last yr after his injury healed up! Not that diff from now (statistically)."

^While I agree w/ these guys in substance, I feel like it sorta muddles the poll's true intent :p

If anything, last season is going to be the anomaly for Lin. Coming back from surgery, changing teams, changing roles etc.. But now it's different. Things are really coming together for him.

He has been soild this season as soon as he got the start over Asik, the red-faced Turkish who stays at home and looks like he is crying when Jones takes his Minutes.

I don't know about anomaly. He had no confidence in his jumpshot last year and I expected him to improve his jumpshot over the summer. It is really what's opening up his game. Defenders can't sag off of him anymore which allows him to penetrate more easily. He's also finishing a whole lot better.

I did a double take when I saw him in the studio. I was expecting Mo to be a fatty because he wasn't the leanest guy when he played in the NBA.

BTW, Mo had the most unstoppable jump hook for a 6'8 guy I've ever seen.

Wow, last year he was a joke at this time, what a change! Recovering from injury indeed is a big factor, but folks did not give him a pass.

Lin for sure. He's improved his 3 pt shot, his left, his defense, his agressiveness. TOs and picking up his drible can still be improved with time. One more year, I think he can make greater strides.

Casspi is quite a surprise. Thought he was a scrub when we picked him up.

Ditto, have to say I was beginning to wonder if TJones could make it outside of DLeague, but he's starting to come into his own. I would like to see more of him at PF on a regular basis. But if we trade Asik for Ilyasova, I don't know if that will kill TJ's morale.

Terrible at D, but a great jump shooter, IIRC.
