Not with Howard in there, they can't - Asik is a much lessor version of Howard, I have been saying all along he is not worth having on the team at his salary and brings NOTHING to the team we don't already have someone better than him at doing.

Nothing against Asik, but he is just not that good - he is a defensive center only...and we got that already in Howard and he can play better offense.

See you Omer - thanks for last season - now hit the bricks and bring us a better chemistry fit.

I pray that every game is a Rocket blow out. I love seeing the unity and free flowing basketball that we saw in the pre-season back. It would help to have a defensive stopper to come in when Dwight rests, but if Asik doesn't want to accept his role off the bench to help this team win a ring, then we'll have to role with what we have for now.

Royce White tried to get his way and bully Morey & the Rockets, it didn't turn out that well for him. This organisation has shown that even with all the talent in the world, Team goals come before individual aspirations.

He's a nice player. But I don't know if he's better than Lin. I notice other point guards get more picks and screens. He got a lot in the game, didn't have to go one on one that much. When he did Bev bothered him, Lin did at times too.

 

Or Howard can end it by hitting the gym and practicing his free throws.

 

Lawson's better than Lin, and it's not even close.

 

This was a nice game to watch and enjoy without breaking anything or throwing sh**... lol

I saw Lin was holding his knees for a minute in pain, hope he's ok

 

We had 7 guys with 10+ points. Off the top of my head, do we have a season high in assists in this game with 27? This is how you play team basketball. Keep it up.

Jones is a great finisher, even better than Dwight today, because he was always cutting towards the basket, even without the ball. Take notes Dwight. lobs come easier if you can create some space off your defender. Most importantly, Jones can rebound.

Dmo always had smooth looking post moves, but he's too easy to push around by other centers. He's a bit of a liability on defense and can't rebound. I still didn't see him box out very well today.

 

Lawon is their #1 scorer. How well would he do on a team where he's the #3 or #2?

 

Balance scoring =wins.As I said, the ball movement and the ability to find eachother is what makes the game easier.Everybody did that.

 

Lawson is no doubt better than Lin.

 

Just like last year there is no one protecting the rim when the 1st team center goes to the bench.. If Omer wasn't so dead set on starting he would realize he would still be an invaluable part of this team. I don't agree that he brings nothing. I may agree that he brings nothing as a part of TT. Asik has been payed he just be the 2nd string center for goodness sake.

 

Of course he was, he was selling hot dogs tonight.

 

Lawson's better than Lin but don't act like the gap is monstrous.

 

Who protected the rim when Dream went out?

Come on - we can survive 12 minutes a game without a defensive center....maybe play a stinking zone for a bit....

12 minutes a game is not worth the cap hit, and you are playing a man down on offense.

Asik is just not that good - and he is redundant on this team.

it's close, depend what type of skill do you think he is better then lin...

hustle and distribute the ball also pace up the tempo, i like lin much more then Lawson, shooting i think both equal, or maybe a bit for lawson , LIN is faster then lawson

bias? i don't know, but i feel that way
