Knowing Hinkie..I don't know if Philly would take Sanders. When I think about Sanders I think there are very few teams that would be willing to take a gamble on him at this stage. The Knicks make a lot of sense to me. They're desperate. They know they have to make it happen. And we are getting close to the point where they should be able to move Amare out if they include draft picks with him since after this year he has one year left and is an expiring deal. Philly has left cap space open. They are a logical candidate to absorb Amare and send out an expiring deal or two and another talent on a long-term deal like Thad Young. I can see the possibility of the Knicks biting off on Sanders for a couple first rounders if they can dump Amare in the process. And I can see the possibility of Philly biting off on Amare's deal if they could get a couple first rounders for doing so.

Philly wants to get worse. Trading for Asik directly make them better in the short term. Trading for Amare and youngsters like DMo along with a couple future first rounders makes them worse now (which is what they want to be) and gives them more assets to use to build with in the future.

Alex Len is still a project and the Suns look like they are one Center away from being legit playoff contenders. G
Suns went into the season with the mindset of tanking but stellar play so far this season by Bledsoe and the Suns might change that.

Suns have plenty of 1st rounders. It's the price you pay for a chance at a championship run.

Also I dont see Sanders being available. He still the best player on the Bucks and is the defensive anchor to a weak defensive core.

Also the Suns might get the mindset that Alex len could benifit from Asik. Learning to play defense from one of the top defending centers in the league. Asiks contract ends in a few years and can be traded in time for Len to take over the reigns.

    Damn espn.

    Rockets gets - Ily, Lopez

    Portland gets - Asik, DMo

    Bucks - Meyers, Robinson

Only problem I see is that the Bucks create a bit of a young player log jam at the 4/5 but having young backups with potential isn't a bad thing.

Didn't Yao Ming's career end with a hairline fracture of his foot? I would think that a hairline fracture of your tibia is even worse. That's what Sam Bowie had and he was never able to come back after that...

Omer Asik for Shawn Marion? Gives the Rockets a perimeter defender they desperately lack, a stretch 4, and an expiring contract. Gives the Mavs a future center and someone who can play next to Dirk. Dalembert is the Mavs only true center right now.

Thats a terrible trade for the Bucks. They get two unproven PF's who have barely shown any potential to be good. Also the Bucks are already loaded at PF. No point in adding two more

So this Doc Rocket guy... who exactly is he? All I remember about him is he may or may not be credible...?

There's no way they're just going to sit Asik until December or something. I'm dying to know what's going on, something's cookin

I believe I have a good guess as to who DocRocket is. If I am correct, he worked for the Rockets way back and has always been around the organization. I believe the sources are credible but any trades are contingent upon many variables. I am also disappointed with Asik's handling of his situation but I think Ilyasova would be a good addition to the team if and when Morey gets it done. Ilyasova reminds me of Scola... Someone who is not very athletic but is a very smart basketball player and maximizes his abilities. Makes me wish I could have another breakfast with Daryl to ask what is up!?
