We don't need no stretch 4 or anything like that we need another big to do what Omer was suppose to do but with more offensive game the only reason why the TT didn't work was because we can't give the ball to asik in the post the way we do with dwight sometimes so we need a big like omer but with more offensive game

Les Alexander will sign Parsons to a long-term contract. He's an important piece to this team and he helped get Dwight here. Why would you trade him after he helped get Dwight?

i think this is a mistake. keep him for depth. we are a D12 injury away from being forced to play nothing but small ball and that is a bad thing.

Because Klay Thompson is a better player, and he would make us a better team.:)

Seriously you really think Chandler Parsons was the reason Dwight came to Houston?

Dwight came here because of James Harden.

Not even if we`d have any other GM. Patterson is bound to be a free agent and Chuck barely gets any playing time there. I think we`d get Chuck for Brewer if we`d really want him, since they`d be glad to have him off the books.

Patterson has some value, but nowhere near the value that Asik has. TJones might do the trick alone.

Patterson would fit in nicely without being an impact player - so I don`t think Morey even asks...

Their GM is on hot seat after trading us Harden to keep ibaka. If he trades us ibaka now... He is going to be buried...

I would expect something like Millsap or Ilyasova, maybe Horford or Anderson.
We all know that Millsap can shoot but my knock against him is that he is only 6-8. Yeah he has a long wingspan but he is still 6-8. So far this year he is putting up career stats so not sure ATL/Ferry will be willing to part with him.

My favorite would be Ersan Ilyasova, 6-10 235lbs. A good shooter. Prefers to play facing the basket reminds me of Tom Chambers with out the hops. He can play spot duty at the 5. Rebounds well. Defends ok. Best all around player of all the options listed. Still has room to get better, and based on fit for our team and contract I would maybe take him over a Aldridge but not a Love. So Morey let's do a Turk for Turk Trade! Not sure the Bucks would do this deal but with Sander's hurt you never know.

With Horford I think we would be better but we would maybe have the same problem we have now with Asik. Not sure Horford can shoot from 3 like we would need if they were to play side by side I think his range is just inside the 3 point line. With his contract we would have to add a Garcia or Casspi to make it work which I would not want to do.

Yes, Ryan Anderson is a light out shooter but he is a defensive liability as well. We can't have Harden playing bad defense and Anderson. It would maybe make Dwight's transition into being a efficient on offense easier, but is that worth it?

yeah you make some good points, it just sounded like a great fit in my head because of ppatts range and the chuckwagon's defense and his back cut passes... You guys are right on the fact that Asik is one of those centers in the league that you could really get a bargain for... thanks for putting me in perspective :)
