Horford is a 4....thus the reas for the article and the insertion of a center with horford at pf, but ive been saying it for the longest that this makes the most sense and definitely think it was a wink wink deal. Id like either but would prefer horford for over milsap to spare dwight at the 5 sometimes.
I dont care for Anderson either and dont understand how people think thats fair trade value for the rockets...and horford wants out and could be had sooner than milsap.although id take either id prefer the rockets go for Horford.
I mean...the guy doesnt even get playing time..and when he does..he plays hard...you cant say he has a bad attitude when he is a starting level center and doesnt even see the court.
Actually the Wizards made an offer for Omer,but Morey had no interest,so they got Gortat. It was a shame that we didn't pulled the trigger,we would have some nice assets.
I don't blame Asik for being pissed. He's already played through two seasons under the exact same circumstances in Chicago. He's paid his dues, he deserves a better gig. He's earned it.
If you pair Howard and Ibaka together, then we would win the next 5 championships, no question. Both player are elite in weak side defense and everybody would be afraid to take the ball in the paint. So the likelyhood of OKC trading us him, if not going to ever happen. That's just opening the door for Kevin to leave. Even if Asik and other player would help OKC more than Ibaka, the Thunder would have basically given Houston the Championship for years to come.
Similar to how is getting Gasol would have also sent Paul to the Lakers. Sure, we would have gotten better, but we would have helped a competitor even more.
Wasn't there a rumor right after last season that would have basically been Westbrook and filler for Howard? Or maybe the season before for Howard for Serge and Harden? In any case, a team of Durant, Howard, Ibaka/ Westbrook would have been dominating! I can understand why Kevin would want to leave LOL

Exactly. The Rockets would have gotten better with Pau, Nene and could would be playoff contenders that could possibly upset a team but that trade would of made the Lakers contenders and favorites. They would have Paul, Bryant and a healthy Bynum. That's just unfair. Thank goodness the trade was rescinded.
