Can you please just stop with the internet tough guy thing? It's incredibly boring. Okay, you hate another poster. Big deal. Put him on ignore and try to contribute something.
Maybe I didn't read this wrong, but does everyone feel this way about me, I'm so confused, Jesus I didn't feel I had said anything controversial
I like Millsap and Ilyasova. Ilyasovas contract should be moveable, so it doesn't concern me too much that he's signed beyond 2015. I've heard people say that stat guys are big fans of Millsap. Can anyone elaborate on that?
Millsap observation on his shot chart he seems to be a dwight howard type of guy that demands to guarded or he will at least attempt to throw up mid rangers or the occansional three ball millsap isnt a guy who is really gonna create for himself relaying on over 70% of his shots to come off assist from teammates, also factor in he hasent played with guards who demand double teams and often pack the paint and sag onto him and big AL (now Horford) and he could really thrive with a harden, lin combo of dynamic players who create thier own shot. you only have to watch millsap play to know he is an abve average rebounder and his stats back it up,with just under 17% of total defensive rebounds snacthed up by him. as well with a high true shooting and EFG. IMO he thrives with harden and lin having players he has never played with before who are able to create and create space for him. like ersan we cant go wrong IMO. its 3.30am and i rushed it but u get the point edit: also as well here is my take on Ersan earlier This thread for u Spoiler (shot chart is Ersan's 2012-2013 LEFT, and 2013-2014 RIGHT shots) he takes jump shots, that what first stood out for me, i realised he had a mid range game but man i didnt excpet to see that many, hopefully if we get him Morey explains how if he takes that shot 5 feet further back then he could average an extra 5 points a game. you can also see how he is a + 3 point shooter esp from the spots we most need it, above the break. we allready have our corner three point shooters in chandler and garcia and sometimes Lin, and the above the break three is that much harder to find in players. im liking that green Ersan's stats show he is also a + defensive rebounder, grabbing in just over 20% of all available defensive rebounds and add to that an effective and effienct shooter and you have a 'morey guy' Ersan would also thrive here because he relies on others mainly to create for him spotting up on 98.9% of his threes come of others assiting to him while 73.6% of his 2 point shots are from assits from others. I imagine his stats would rise playing with willing passers with our backcourt along with other quality passers in Dwight Parsons and to an even lesser extent Cassipi and Bev also Ersan's contract is actually both a positive and a negative. Ersan's contract does give us 3 years min after this year however if we get him it gives up our big cap space in the 2015 FA window In conclusion get him here Murray, unless it costs us future firsts, then i recommend moving on
Would be happy with Ilyasova. Especially if he plays like this: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/r58ONy-EK2g" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Dude has averaged >44% from 3pt range (with roughly 3 attempts / game) for the last two seasons
We have 1 from Israel - Casspi But we need 1 from Turkey, not from Sova, Iran. - Nobody on bucks is from Iran. Sova (Ilyasova) is a player reference. Ilyasova is also from Turkey. Gotta move up the Muppet man, bucko! - Move up Henson, Milwuakee Happy Hunting- We're dealing with the Bucks. Big Game Hunting (trading)
Love players that like to set those high screens and look for the shot if the guard needs to pass it to them
Sova is a village in Iran. Yeah it's pretty clear who he is talking about. i think it would be a great move. I'd be very happy if we could pull this off. Ilyasovo's big weakness is probably that he will get destroyed in the post but the benefit of leaving Howard all alone in the middle is too much to pass up.
I think from Doc's post, it looks like Ersan Ilyasova + John Henson The key isn't Ersan, it is the VALUE of John Henson as the sweetener for the Rockets. In fact, if I were the Rockets I would even consider adding DMo into the package. Henson is exactly the kind of LONG 4/5 shotblocking big that this team is looking for off the bench. Plus he is on a cheap rookie contract. AND is a valuable asset if a secondary move is to be made down the road (e.g. LMA/LOVE).
Hilarious you think you could get both let alone one of them for ASik. Ersan carries more value than Asik based on the fact hes a stretch 4 almost every playoff team desires.. Centers like Asik are a dime a dozen in the league.
You need to read the riddle better. I'm a bucks fan and the reason why they would trade Ersan is because he is taking up John Hensons minutes... They play the same position
The Bucks want to move Ilyasova to give Henson the starting role and minutes to their other young forwards.
Hmm how about this Asik to dallas They get the Perfect C to pair with Dirk Marion to the Bucks They are already in Tank Mode and Marion is an expiring Ilyasova to Houston We get a pretty good 4 Seems fair to me
Why would the bucks trade for an expiring contract smh... Ersan has value to the Bucks and to alot of teams.
Oh, I am sure the Bucks don't want to move Henson. All that I am saying is MOREY would want Ersan+Henson. He would push for more value because he would be looking for someone to play some backup C minutes with Asik leaving.
