Yeah, I get that feeling too. Sixers will become Houston's Eastern Conference D-League.

Half of the reason people want to trade him is just to get rid of the LOFs on the BBS

I can hope for either Ersan or LMA.

One of the two. Ill take either just get this offensively anemic rebounder off our SQUAD

I could see Sixers - thad young and hawes

    Sixers:
    MCW
    anderson
    Turner
    Noel
    Asik

Would be an amazing team next season if they correctly draft with their two lottery picks.

    Beverley/lin
    Harden/garcia
    Parsons
    Young/casspi
    Howard/hawes

Realistic trade options (I don't see LMA or Love as "realistic") include:

    Atlanta - Asik for Millsap
Boston - Asik for Green; perhaps Asik + DMo/Jones + pick(s) for Green + Sullinger
Charlotte - Asik for Biyombo + McRoberts + pick
Cleveland - Asik for Varejao; Asik for Thompson, Zeller
    Milwaukee - Asik for Ilyasova
New York - Asik for Bargnani + pick(s); Asik + Beverley for Bargnani + Shumpert
Philadelphia - Asik for Hawes; Asik for Young
Toronto - Asik for Johnson + pick
Washington - Asik for Gortat + pick
    Denver - Asik
Memphis - Asik + pick(s) for Davis Koufos
    Minnesota - Asik for Williams + pick(s)
New Orleans: Asik for Anderson; Asik + Jones/DMo for Anderson + Smith/Stiemsma
    Portland - Asik for Lopez + pick(s)

I understand a lot of you think that this list probably isn't exactly awe-inspiring, but keep in mind that people will be attempting to buy low for Asik.

My favourite option which will not happen in a million years is a straight up swap of Howard and Love. But that's just a fantasy at this point.

Yes it was on Charlie's show. Said he felt more comfortable with jones over dmo. Said he's a better rebounder, likes his defense, has been working really hard.

Said that he's had extended talks with Omer about his role with the team. Said he asked him if he was ready to play before Knicks game and Omer said no. Then he said that's all he really has to say about that.

Said he likes Lins progress as a player.

Said what he had heard so far on Greg smith was that it was likely a sprain...no structural damage.

I only heard a few minutes of it, but what I heard was good stuff.

It seems that OKC has also interest in Asik. OKC would be the best choice for him (most turks are OKC fans) but not for the Rockets.

Speaking of Millsap not working out, here is an interesting article from the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

I have copied and pasted a portion of the article below.
You can read the rest by clicking on the link.

    http://www.ajc.com/news/sports/hawks-start-gustavo-ayon-move-paul-millsap-to-benc/nbtWh/

    The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
The Hawks moved Paul Millsap to the bench — at least temporarily.

Gustavo Ayon started at center, and Al Horford moved to power forward for Friday’s game against the 76ers. The lineup change was the first of the season for the Hawks.

“If you would say what is the biggest reason, it’s working and trying to get as many good combinations (on the floor),” Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer said. “To be honest, this might be short-lived. I don’t know if I’m going to do it tomorrow. I don’t know if I’m going to do it the next day. This is not a ‘he is coming off the bench for the rest of the season’ decision.

“We are going to look at it (Friday). Just like everything, we will continue to evaluate and try to find good combinations, good groups, who help us have the most success.”

Millsap was the Hawks’ major off-season acquisition. He signed a two-year, $19 million contract this summer

Millsap has battled several injuries of late. He has dealt with a sore left Achilles, a sore right elbow and now a sore left thumb that was heavily taped Friday morning. Budenholzer said that injuries were not the impetus for the move.

We would do that in a heartbeat.

In the near future, you have a deadbeat(Omer whose lessening his value) and Parsons whose very good, but not All-Star, for a top PF in the game that tends to be a tremendous inside-outside fit for our two best players.

Defensively, offensively, and rotation wise, Chris Bosh would be an excellent fit here. If Morey could muster that, it would've been done already.

Finding a replacement SF wouldn't be a hard deal. Brewer or Garcia could step in temporarily.

Miami would only trade Bosh if the team isn't working. But they are so there's no way they would trade him.
