TIL that the Least has HORRIBLE back court players compared to the West.

His free throw shooting sucks. In fact, I think this whole team sucks all together at free throw shooting for the most part.

I'd be happy with him doing 50-40-80.

Realistically, 45ish 38ish is cool with me.

Bit of a hyperbole but with the way he's shooting the ball right now. 80% isn't pretty bad.

    Reminds me of LeBron.

good stuff, 50/40/80 is major improvement for him already. Hope he can keep it up, we're going to go deep in the playoff if he can sustain those numbers.

You know, with all of the LOFs and all of Taiwan and all of Jeremy's fan base, plus his success thus far, how likely is it that Jeremy makes the all star game? He's got my vote!

I hope the LOHs keep fueling his drive to succeed

Jeremy's FT% will not hit 90%, not because he's not good at them (he doesn't miss technical FTs or the kind of FTs he got last night) but most of the time he gets to the line after getting the wind knocked out of him.

Do you notice how difficult it is for him to get any calls? A lot of time he's either bleeding or got whacked by some hard foul. And he's not a habitual flopper.

Can I flame you for mentioning Lin the same paragraph as "Larry Bird, Mark Price, Reggie Miller, Steve Nash, Dirk Nowitzki and Kevin Durant"?

I'd be surprised and happy if he was in the 50, 40, or the 90 club at the end of the season. Just get in one club before trying to get in all of them.

90% FT is not gonna happen.

50%FGs or 40% 3FGs would be awesome. If he could do both he would be overachieving.

He's 9th in total free throws attempted this year(24th in attempts per game). He's getting to the line this year. I recognize he takes some hard fouls here and there, but to attribute that to a huge disparity in what his free throw percentage could be if everywhere foul he drew was just a touch foul is kind of a reach. Other players take hard fouls too, should we adjust the entire league? 80% is a good number over an entire season no need to make excuses for a good number.

I don't think he pays any attention to LOHs or LOFs tbh. I'm sure his biggest critic is himself. If you can be better by working on your game in the offseason, why wouldn't you?

If he keeps it up, he's going to be old reliable. When you become reliable, you're a star. Let's say he does it all year and in the playoffs... that's the makings for a long bright career.

I would be very happy to see he achieves this till season end. This is already qualified as a very good shooter for a guard.

I think it's possible... just very unlikely. The only times Lin gets calls is when he gets hammered... try making free throws after being smacked to the ground.. its hard to do.

I know this happens every year, but can't the nba wait a little longer than 10 games before starting the all-star voting?
