Strange story, apparently his brother says he is. http://www.cnn.com/2013/11/14/showbiz/andy-kaufman-alive-or-not/index.html
To be fair, his brother never really believed he was. He says that he started to wonder after the letter and then the woman claiming to be Andy's daughter came forward. But now that it's come out that the woman is actually an actress and they've tracked down her real father, his brother is saying that he thinks it's a hoax someone else has created and he's being duped.

Bill Hicks would be AMAZING right now with the current political environment. But he might have killed himself during the W years. Never was a fan Kaufman except for Taxi......he was awesome on that show.
About to get flamed here but I've been looking into stuff this year and I'm about 100% convinced Elvis is alive and I'm pretty sure I've found out who he is.
Do you need help with a car ride to Las Vegas to prove your theory to the world? If so, I can provide transport and/or gas money.
knote32 answered you properly, but let me add: your reasoning is actually a great justification to not click on this thread and especially to not post in this thread. Meanwhile, TexasStake/Toycen is going to tell us about Elvis not having left the building, all while the rest of us get to enjoy thinking about old Andy Kaufman skits/performance art.
There's nothing wrong with debating the guy's significance thirty years later. If you wanted to discuss his work that's actually a pretty good pretext.
