At this point I'm begging the Rockets to look impressive... Thunder win as well, I say. Durant goes for 34
I feel like we never play well on national television. Not having a good feeling about this game. GSW/OKC should be really fun especially after OKC got beat last night.
Well knowing the history of Houston sports (texans and rockets) and national television, you may need to pray real hard that they look good.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Clippers F Matt Barnes fined $25,000 for using inappropriate language on Twitter and failing to leave court in timely manner after ejection.</p>— SportsCenter (@SportsCenter) <a href="https://twitter.com/SportsCenter/statuses/401120229700272128">November 14, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Before the season and Preseason I thought Rockets were going to be dismantling teams like Golden State.. not any more. GSW has an offense with many plays that get their guys easy buckets. I dont think the Rockets are better than them and that pains me to say.
Agree with you 100%. Just watching how easy the other top teams get baskets. It is horrendous we seemingly have no go to play which nets us easy points. Oh sorry. We do. The P'n'R. But it's never used. You look at what the Clippers do in close game situations. P'n'R all day every day. Until we start using our strengths we just are an above average team.
Don't sweat it. Of all the teams in the West thought to have a real shot at reaching the Finals, the Rockets are the farthest away from being a finished product. Once Morey trades Asik+whoever and remakes the roster, we'll have a better idea of how strong a contender they are. Much (but not all) of what the Rockets are doing now is spinning their wheels. I think McHale may not be the coach next year.
Man I know that certain teams match up & play better with different teams but I'm watching the GSW/OKC game & I'm here thinking "The Rockets would be getting blown out" We really need to play better...
Maybe it's just me but Rockets games are disjointed. So many free throws and breakdowns. Watching these two teams is just bliss after that.
It's important to remember that, as A_3PO said, the Rockets aren't a finished team and have an extremely unbalanced roster. Once Asik is traded, and depending on who we get, then we'll accurately get to judge how our team looks.
on that secondary fastbreak, the whole stadium was yelling "Stephon's open" pass it. A long pass and long head fake later...drills it. That must be fun being a GSW fan at a game watching Stephon with a couple of seconds to line one up, giving you time to put your beer down and lift up your kid, even before he shoots.
