I trust Morey to wait for the right deal to come along. Not in any rush to move him.

It will be interesting to see what we get for him. I think it will be something out of left field, but it will be good and make sense for this team.

That would be a great trade. Bosh next to Dwight is a perfect fit and unlike Howard he can score there.

It's actually a great trade for both teams. Miami gets their defensive center to help them beat Indiana.

I like Denver as a trade partner. Can't see them moving Lawson. Would they move Faried - even if he isn't the best fit at 4, he's still a hell of a player?

Yep. my main concern is us. Bosh has sacrificed a lot of his offense in Miami. He is still a legit 18 and 9 guy in the right situation.

His job isn't starting lol, his job is to be available when his coach calls him, and he makes a ridiculous amount of money doing it.

Got to say I'm a bit surprised Omer would pull this BS, first of all he was a career backup, the Rox were the ones who gave him a starting role and paid him more than he would've been paid otherwise (5M per year tops, maybe less if no one else had bid on him). Secondly, he's not good enough to be requesting trade demands. Those are reserved for superstars, he has largely been a negative on offense since the season started due to his butter fingers.

Anyway just because he demanded a trade doesn't mean we have to trade him right now, we can wait around for a good offer. I'd like it if we could get a decent defensive center back like Robin Lopez+picks. Even better, maybe we can work out a deal involving Larry Sanders. He's young, makes similar money, and is just as disgruntled this year as Asik. He can also play the PF role, so we can have another twin towers lineup, except this time with DH at C and LS at PF, which should work much better.

Faried is not a good fit next to Dwight.

I think it's kinda messed up how basically McHale himself ended Asik's games played streak.

I think it's messed up how Asik is putting his personal needs before the team. He's still getting paid his millions.

Asik did that to himself for whining about a trade. He'd have given him some of TJ's minutes if he hadn't whined and pouted on the bench.

I can't understand why Asik doesn't want to stay on the Rockets. He can still grow and develop his game practicing against a great center in Dwight Howard and possibly win a championship too. Where else is he going to get a better opportunity to practice against a great center and develop his game AND win a championship?

I didn't see those 4 minutes he played yesterday. Given that it was just 4 minutes, was it really that bad and that obvious that he didn't bother? I just think it sucks how we went away from the TT that everyone hated, but couldn't even play one full game with the center rotation of Howard or Asik on the floor at all times.

This will be Morey biggest trade of his career...

If Morey gets the right player we will be set to win a couple of championships... If not we will be hoping to sign that piece next year...

This should be interesting.. Getting my popcorn ready.

Lol Rondo and Dwight on the same team. Divas! But Rondo would bring leadership to the team which we lack.

Idk if he was playing disinterested but that was just a bad matchup for him. It sucks we have to trade him now because I really like him he's a very good player but we do need to address the power forward position.

I don't blame him for wanting to start, or at least be a 6th man like Lin. Howard is going to play at least 36 minutes a game. If they are not going to the TT set from now on, he is going to get less than 15 mpg. That's pretty bad for a good center in his prime. He could be a starter on about 25 other teams.

What he shouldn't have done is go public about his wanting to be traded. Or maybe it's not him, but his agent. It doesn't look good.

And I don't get why he is benched.

Asik most likely left the Bulls because we offered him the most money, but I'm sure part of his reasoning was that he no longer had to be backup center. He finally got his chance to start last year and he thrived, and now a year later he is heading back to the bench. Most competitors wouldn't be ok with that. I don't like that he has made it public but I completely understand why he isn't interested in wasting two of his prime years backing up Howard.

Was it Mchale's decision to not play Asik? Or did Asik choose not to play?

what? he would be insane not to demand minutes or a trade. if you're a top 10 center in the league and can't get significant minutes that should drive you crazy. what type of competitor would not want playing time if they're that good?
