There is absolutely no way that turnover is on Howard.

You throw the ball at a players head - of course he isn't going to catch it.

Obviously he has some pretty ridiculous IQ.

Lakers last year didn't do it, Rockets are also not doing it. It seems like teams don't know how to utilise centers well anymore.

Holy crap Shaq's hands are HUGE.

 

Shaq: 20 shots last night. One shot tonight. Every big time player has wanted to put up big numbers (in NY/MSG). He can't allow the D make him passive. If Anthony Davis doesn't have the rebound, he is flying out. One shot is terrible and won't get it done. This kid doesn't know how to post up. He should get it, go deep, get aggressive. Jump hook 'em to death.

Chuck: Knicks don't have a big guy. None. For Dwight to have one shot, he should be foaming at the mouth to get to MSG. He should try to go off. I'm disappointed. Dwight going to Houston, I thought it would work, working with McHale (and Hakeem). This guy has not gotten better. He doesn't know how to post up. Post-game tonight, I'm gonna teach him and Blake how to post up. Chuck is gonna teach post up and one on one.

 

Shaq does have a point, Dwight should run more. If another rocket can get the rebound except Howard then he should run to the middle. It worked really well in the preseason but we have gone away from that

 

how can mchale work with dwight in the post when he can barely walk?

 

The rockets are very boring this year!

 

I don't like the way houston is using howard. Its not the shots,its the touches. I understand they played a certain way last year and had some success,but that wasn't gonna win u a title. Whether u have to run the jery sloan flex or horns, he shouldn't go posessions without touching the ball. Playing against a finesse guy like bargiani in the game tonight. If they actively get the ball to howard in a threatening position, they got to foul or players will be butt naked.

 

Shaq should avoid the bad jokes and just do analysis, he's actually good at that.

 

I have the feeling that Howard is the odd man in this team. The offense is smooth when they're driving, cutting and kicking out for 3. It sucks every time they tries to do something with Howard.

 

Posting up and getting position shouldn't be so hard for someone so large. If Dwight could post up effectively he would never need a post move. He should be consistently getting the ball in the paint against these lollipop kids..

 

Everything that is being said about Dwight Howard is right we should of kept Asik and went after a real PF instead of Dwight

Dwight is a p***y, a true center would've taken any of the bigs of NY to school tonight. Instead, he looks disinterested as hell and not doing much. If only Asik has played like he cared and not let this not starting get to him, we would've had a real big in there. Can't wait for a trade of McHale, Asik & Dwight for some bigs and a coach with balls!!
