What exactly is stupid? The fact that George is a much better defender than Harden? The fact that George is a better overall player than Harden? The fact that George is a better fit on a team with no D? The fact that George is younger than Harden and has more room to grow?
George is not a better player than Harden, nor is he a better fit. This team is built around Harden and Howard, that is not changing, no matter how much you want it too. The idea has zero chance of happening in any way shape or form. The Rockets would never consider it, the Pacers would never consider it, and unless you are a complete imbecile, you know this. This you just typing stupid garbage that adds nothing to the forum.
States that two players on our team cannot coexist, therefore one has to leave. One player has max contract designated as Franchise Player, other player has bloated contract. HRMMM. TOUGH QUESTION INDEED.
your proposition makes no sense, because then the only shot creator on the team would be Lin. Paul George is a good shooter but his shot creating is still bad. So if you only have Lin as the shot creator the team knows what do, put a solid defender on him, and the offense collapses. And Paul George would not improve the defense as much as you think. They can still switch it up and attack Lin and Parsons. If Dwight a DPOY couldn't improve our defense, Paul George certainly will not make a bigger impact.
LOL, you're clearly butthurt. In which way, shape or form is George not better than Harden? George is a better overall player.
I mean...getting to the line, playmaking, ball handling, passing, and overall offense in general, but okay...
except offense is more valued than defense. You are analyzing this the wrong way, basketball is not a complete 50/50 offense/defense, offense is worth more than defense. That's why Tony Allen is not a superstar.
harden is not the 100% cause of all the rockets' defensive woes and pacers are a good defensive team not because of paul george alone
Notice how I responded simply to your question of what does Harden do better than George. I didn't ignore defense, as I know George is superior. I just answered your question. Don't look so silly now...
No, we gave our money to a Top 4 player who will get better on the defensive end. He's already said he wants to improve defensively and he has the tools to do so.
