What do you want Lin to do? Trade himself? It's up to Morey to move him and not re-sign him if Lin doesn't fit the team.

LOL no one has to go. Harden just needs to learn to fall back and little and step away from the Me vs Them mentality and focus on Us vs Them..that and play some defense on a consistent basis.

MELO is so overrated. Lineup would be

    short mannequin
    Harden
    Melo
    tall mannequin
    Howard

I could foresee many games between assists.

no one needs to go. Coaching staff needs to make the pieces work because the pieces are there.

tonight's game opened my eye though. we could use tall wing/perimeter defender. the size of the Sixer guards was a problem.

Most nba players don't stay teammates for a long time anyway especially for journeyman level players. Unless Lin keeps up with his current level of play it's highly unlikely he's here for the long term anyway.

Actually they were. But nobody defended them. So the threads died quickly.
That being said. Lin is getting more heat than he deserves. But the same goes for all the other players in our team.

you think Lex is just going to let him go? the same guy that was blowing up daryl's phone. Some don't like it, but lin keeps and will keep improving. True Rockets fans want him to stay and harden to stay. just play within the offense and that should be up to the coaches to propagate glorious democratic basketball.

It's time to trade Lin since you can probably get a decent package in return.

Westbrook and Harden had no problems together... And Lin has been playing well this year with Harden as well...

Yes. As Clutch noted, without Harden, Lin averages 24 and 8. He typically performs at a very high level when hes the number 1 option. There is so much talent in the backcourt, its on the coaches to figure it out. The current situation seems more like a bandaid solution than anything else. As it stands, I can't see us contending with Harden alone. Dwight hasn't been as effective in the post as I hoped he would've been.

It's worth getting rid of Lin at this point; the b****ery of LOF's in ratio to his value seemingly exceeds the YOF plague of a decade ago.

I agree. Lin the Joke always seems to bring out the stupid in various "reasonable, sensible and objective" Houston Rockets fans as well.

It's a great opportunity to get a rid of Lin now. Time to sell high.

lol well i'm glad fans aren't gms or owners. Lin having talent + being a polarizing figure is good for Lex and the rockets. It's good for the Nba globally.

so he has hardcore fans that flood all internet forums. who cares? people are clicking and tuning in. With going mainstream, things tend to change.

Besides, I've been hearing since 2002, when I'd read as a guest, that the garm is unreadable. That's way before the acquisition of Lin. Never thought that was true since I always read everything. The texans forum, now that's unreadable. =(

For who? And who fills the PG minutes? It's not like Beverley is a scorer OR a facilitator on Lin's level.

It's not like Deron Williams, CP3, Tony Parker, Derrick Rose, Russell Westbrook or Steph Curry are available...

I believe the guy you were responding does not care what the Rockets get in return and only wants Lin to be traded to a team where he can relive Linsanity

Lin sucks. look at his turnovers yesterday. What a fool. The only reason why he's in the NBA is because ticket sales. Lin, Yao and Robert Swift

Well said. Amen to that brother. Our personal annoyances should always supersede the chance for our team to win. #whatdafrak
