By that logic then Mchale would be reluctant to run the offense through Harden(4.5topg) but obviously he doesn't.

You should bring up such comparisons near the end of the season as such a small sample size can not have any true statistical power and can only signify trends.
And 40% is pretty darn good for Wall who shooting 17% from 3 not long ago.

You might want to include how often they attempt a shot per 36minutes.

Chalmers, D Williams, Calderon, Sessions have shot less than Lin while Lowry has shot the same # of shots as Lin.

Anyone know how to interpret below stats from link above ?

Turnovers, on Offense (ON Court / OFF Court / Net):
    19 / 17 / -2 /
Turnovers, on Defense (ON Court / OFF Court / Net):
    14 / 14 / +0
Net Turnovers (ON Court / OFF Court / Net)
    -5 / -3 /+2

If Lin has 14 + 9 total turnovers, what is the Offense TO stats referring to? Are they team stats? And is the Defense TO stats referring to the opposing team TO?

Rose, Westbrook, and D Will are better.
Derrick Rose won the MVP a few years back.

It just seems there's some inferiority complex with the Lin fans. Always trying to self justify for no reason.

Can't they just accept Lin as a Rockets basketball player?

I don't remember people comparing Kenny Smith to John Stockton, people were happy Kenny was a Rocket and that was that.

LOH = term created by Lin fans who couldn't stand criticism of their favorite player

the OF term was created to spot fake Rockets fans on this board., clutchfan's
pure mission is to be the home of the Rockets fans from all over the universe

because most of the fans who joined for the Rockets (not for one player )were so superior intellectually and have such creativity and charisma, the fans who joined this site temporarily had to label criticism as 'hate'.

LOL stop....there are people on both sides. Don't act like the only 2 sides are LOF and general Rocket fans. There are a number of people who make it their mission to gloat over every single mistake if you follow the game threads.

We saw today why his assists are down....James Harden. PLus he's the only good hitting 3's that' another 1-2 assists he's not getting cause other people are hitting jump shots. If he throws it in the post to Dwight and Howard likes to hold it, take a few dribble and then spin, Lin's not gonna get an assist for that and many people are here calling for more of those possessions!

Once again for Jeremy Lin people just have to find something to be upset about. Is anyone out there going "omg that eric bledsoe is so careless!!! he needs to take better care of the basketball!"

Heck no! When people talk about him, they say he's on his way to being an elite PG!

Most LOF wear glasses and have masters degrees and can recite Shakespeare and outnumber Rockets fans 10 to 1.

Lin definitely has improved his shooting but it's still too early to tell by how much. I'd be surprised if he can stay above 40% for 3s by the end of the season. If he does, he's gonna have a good career in this league.

You already mentioned that you were stupid and ugly (at least in comparison to Ackerman), and now I find out that you're lazy too! Geez! :)

All right then: When you look at Lin's true shooting % in comparison to all players with over 21 mins (not just point guards), Lin beats out everyone except for Kyle Korver. But Lin takes more shots than Korver. In fact, no one (even players with lower level minutes) that has a higher TS% than Lin also has a higher usage rate.

The top TS% among players with higher usage rates than Lin is Lebron, followed by Curry. Lin is keeping some impressive statistical company.
