Rockets lose the lead and another close game. What does it mean for the GARM? I couldn't say it any better than Bill Murray:

Great shooting night for Lin. He is currently tied with Durant for the highest Point Per Shot in the entire league (see link below). After tonight's game with the Sixers and after OKC finishes the game with the Clippers, Lin might lead the league in PPS among qualified players of any position. Not bad for a undrafted player paid average starting PG salary.

My impression from this game is that Lin doesn't have a killer instinct yet. He tried too hard to get teammates involved while the lead was around 10, which led to the turnovers. It didn't help that he wasn't getting calls on some of the turnovers when you could see that he got slapped in replays. It will come in time.

Houston just has bad luck with opposing teams crunch time 3-pointers. From Ellis hitting the last second shot last season while with the Bucks, to the Blake's 3-pointer this season. Frustrating to witness.

Watching the last few games, it feels like the Rockets are still in preseason, experimenting with line-ups. I hope they collect enough data soon enough so the coaching staff stop it with the experimentation.

You guys are ridiculous. Lin tied a franchise record for threes, had 24 points and 12 assists. If it was Harden that put up those numbers (which Lin WAS today), you guys wouldn't be so hardcore about his defense. You'd give Harden a pass because he's our superstar.

It's this double standard that many Clutchfan members should recognize. The earlier the better, and the sooner we can actually discuss intelligently about basketball.

I just want the rockets to forget about this loss and focus on not embarrassing themselves on national tv for the third straight week.

If you are truly Houston Rocket Fans , you shouldn't blame any players who played with their heart out today for us.

Harden would of gotten a pass because he would of won the game in the 4th. Also would of have much fewer turnovers.

Harden had 6 TO against Raptors, Lin had 8 here but people who actually watched the game would know 3/4 were from no calls.

    BUT NAH CAUSE LIN

You do know that Harden leads the league in total turnovers right?

The guy got hot. Sometimes even bad pitchers throw no-hitters. There are nights sometimes an athlete has when things just go right. Anderson shot difficult shots and he hit them. Give Anderson credit for playing a huge game and burning his old team.

Disingenuous? Just because your point has been proven as flawed doesn't make my point disingenuous. Beverley held his own against Wroten... Wroten had 5 more assists but 4 more turnovers and Beverley had more steals and was far more efficient. The fact that Wroten was making his first start is a red herring.

Your entire premise was that Anderson was too big for Lin... Until it was pointed out that Wroten is even bigger than Anderson.... Then it was Garcia should guard Anderson which means Beverley or Lin isn't getting minutes.... When it was pointed out that Garcia has had the flu and the Rockets need Lin's offense and Beverley's defense you say 1 mismatch is better than 2..... But Beverley wasn't mismatched....

Whatever .... Have a good night.

I've been following Hinkie's team. I can tell you why they are winning:

Hawes and Turner have been RED HOT on high volume. Turner has been playing like he's the teamball version of Harden without all the over-iso drawbacks.

It wasn't the size difference; it was that he was just hot tonight.

9 of Anderson's 12 makes were with a player right in his grill.

Most nights teams don't even bother guarding Anderson and he can barely make wide open shots. Tonight he was making them with defenders in his face. Jae Crowder happens.

Harden hasn't been closing out games that well for the longest time. And he leads the NBA in TOs. What are you smoking?

    Fixed.

Good POINT. He should learn when to be aggressive and when to play safe. He deserves criticism for poor decision making.

I love TJones. He is so far looking good. Need to see how well he does when match up against a better PF.

We seriously need to cover for DH when he go for the blocks. That is on Lin/ Bev/ Harden!

    You are optimistic:cool:

    That is even more optimistic:cool:

Any team that is shooting 3's way below there average will struggle. It just opens up your offense a lot more once they start going in.

I don't see a double standard. I'm pretty sure the whole of clutchfans is aware of Harden's poor defense, and he gets a lot of deserved criticism for it. The same should go for Lin.

I highly doubt people would ignore Harden's poor defense if he scores 30 points but his opposition dropped 35 in return, especially if his opposition is a nobody before this game.

Perimeter defense is an issue for this team, and every player (Beverley and Parsons included) needs to do a better job.

Why do no mention Howard performance.
In the 2nd QTR Howard was being feed the ball and he was getting schooled by his opponent.

What he get $22mil a year. He need to be clutch, game turner.
