Perimeter defender? No way, it's been made clear it's clearly just a James Harden issue! So even though James was out tonight, those other guys had an off night tonight. Give 'em time, they'll get 'em next time!

put parsons on the bench and give some minutes to dmo. he needs some focus at least i dont think dmo will do much worse than parsons. Pump fake dribble equals turn over in some way or bad possession

Wes Johnson has a nice seat starting for the Lakers on the league minimum salary. Look at tonights box score. Johnson currently has 4 blocks and 3 steals. He also dropped 16pts and 4rb's when they beat us. He can shoot, unlike Ronnie Brewer...and is 4 years younger.

Now that Wes has proven me right we should try to pry one of the following... Tony Wroten; Iman Shrumpert; Jeff Taylor or Terrence Ross.

Chandler Parsons is overhyped by this forum. Lance Stephenson is a better player and makes basically the same amount of money salary wise. Ronnie Brewer needs to play instead of no D Casspi.

Brewer needs to get some PT. That's why Morey signed him. He needs to get in the rotation soon.

I mentioned Harden's potential to be a good defender but it seems that he is sluggish on D and fiery on offense which is good.

But i'm saying we can use a defensive player who can space the floor off the bench the truth is we have no back up for Harden. Lin is a one, Garcia is a three, Casspi is a four and I probably don't have to mention that Asik is a five.

No question, he can do it all much like his taller counter-part who happens to be on the same team as him.

Stephenson is also much quicker that parsons who is quick enough to be a slasher but none the less average for an nba player.

I think i'd trade Asik for him if they didn't have Hibbert who has been great for them.

Need a wing Guy with speed and quickness. Parson and Garcia are way to slow to be effective

Can't have Lin and Harden on the court at the same time.

Harden has the smarts but no effort on defense. Lin has the effort but is seemingly clueless on how to play defense.

I would definitely move McHale before Parsons.

Seriously damn that pissed me off the Warriors basically got him for nothing.

Hate to repeat it but you could have had Josh Smith for Asik right now.

lineup of Beverly, Harden, Parsons, Smith and Howard would've been great, J Smoove is shooting better from 3 than Parsons lol

I think that's a bit of an oversimplification. Lin was playing defense very well until the last 2 games. His defense clearly drops when he exerts more on offense.

I think we are actually good on the perimeter with our current roster. Harden and Parsons both clearly have easy improvements that they are already beginning to make (see Harden in Toronto and Parsons this game).

Once Harden comes back, Lin can refocus part of his offensive effort on defense.

Quite frankly, we don't need Linsanity for this team. Linsanity = no defense and we need two-way players more than ever given Howard's limited post game and Harden's still developing defense. I prefer Lin drop high teens/low twenties, 8+ assists, and lock down defense than 30+/10+. That is simply much more effective for this team when Harden's here.

I definitely think we should use Asik to get a perimeter defender, offense is not our problem that's why I don't get the fascination with a stretch 4.
