McHale should have used somebody else to guard Anderson, someone taller than JLin.

our defense was bad people walked in for layups
we have no offense except Harden, Lin and Dwight
Harden was out so it was just Lin and Dwight
Bev had a couple defensive moments but a spot up shooter...uhhh not so far this season
Parsons plz shoot the wide open 3
Cisco a no show since pre-season ended

I'm a big Lin fan, but I agree with this. He needs to find a better balance between aggression and control. Still, he carried the team tonight. And for those saying "This was a Lin-led team tonight and look where we sit", we've sat in the same position as a Harden-led team many a times as well.

Coming off a double overtime and McHale runs the main guys to the ground. Terrible play call on the last shot. Terrible play call for Garcia to shoot. Chandler makes his FTs and/or the Rockets foul and not give up a 3 at the end of the game, the Rockets probably win. Just a great shot by Anderson

McHale was not great tonight. he made a lot of dumb decisions. THat play he drew up for parsons, sacrificing the size advantage of Wroten and Anderson by starting Lin and Bev, not fouling when up 3 and no Asik.

Not saying that we should blame only the coach, there is blame to go around, but McHale was far from blameless.

It take the whole team to play defense. Hopefully it will come with time.

    34 and 12. Plus 5 rebounds.

And he played 22/24 minutes in the 1st half, and got virtually no breaks in the 2nd half. And played the OT for a total of 49/53 potential minutes?

You know what it's like to play that many minutes with hardly any breaks?

And that's after playing 47 minutes in the Raptors game?

8 TO's is high, but not completely unbelievable. Judgement, speed and accuracy all go out the window with fatigue. Try making a sharp play after you play 22 minutes straight, let alone playing 47 minutes.

And he was asked to defend out of position multiple times against a player longer and stronger than him.

    Just this season...

Chris Paul has had 2 x 6 TO games
James Harden had a 8 TO game in Portland.
Steph Curry had an 11 TO game against the Clippers.
Derrick Rose had an 8 TO game against Philadelphia

Seriously, he put up 34 and 12 and was carrying the team. Cut the guy some slack.

I dont think anybody wants D-Mo or Brewer out there! If Mchale would of done that we would just hear how that was a bad coaching decision. Nothing will make you people happen

another big dislike is mchale needs to substitute better or his 8 man rotation will be exhausted by all star break. Lin played like so many minutes in past 2 games. just too much.

Lin's matador defense made Anderson look like LBJ.

Well, put it this way, if the player performed poorly, you critcise the players. If the coach draws up poor plays, and make silly adjustments, do you criticise the players too?

It's a good thing we had no Asik. The guys Philly was playing were to quick for Asik to consistently defend. If Asik could score well, he would be on the floor

Once again McHale shouldn't have had Lin on Anderson in the first place. Anderson is bigger stronger than Lin. McHale needs to play to this teams strengths not our weaknesses.

Most NBA teams run an 8 man rotation.
