Defense is a team game. We have the ability, we just don't have the coaching. Everyone gives the effort on defense, except for Harden sometimes.

James Anderson was hot since the start of the game. Lin obviously couldn't contain him, where was the double teams? Why wasn't Garcia swapped in to defend Anderson? Lin couldn't even faze Anderson, because he has the reach and is just shooting over Lins block.

Stephenson & Granger if healthy would be an instant fix

    Stephenson
    Harden
    Granger
    Parsons
    Dwight

Would the Pacers take Lin in his current hot streak? Asik for picks/pieces from a 3rd team to sweeten the deal for the Pacers.

the rockets need a coach who priorities defense first.

this run and gun philosophy is why they look so bad on defense.

I also predicted that 4 days ago as the unfortunate implication of the need for a defensive SF.

Run and gun was tailored for Lin this game. It's also their best bet for the night.

Defense wins championships, every champion team has an elite wing defender. PG does not count as elite wing defender because of lack of height.

    Rox will fix this.

Indy aint messing with their team. They look legit as is and any major trade could ruin chemistry and a potential championship team.

Honestly the players are fine they're perfect. They just need time to mesh, reduce turnovers and hit a few more free throws. If we do all this their is no need perimeter defender because the games wont be close enough
The heat in 2010-2011 the first year they got Lebron and Bosh had the same problems and they were 5-4 at one point (like us) and they went 9-8 until they really started playing well. Give this team some time, and in all fairness the opposition has been getting very lucky, between steve blake, rudy gay, and james anderson insane three pointers.
Stay optimistic and give it time!

Well said, plus Harden and Asik not playing obviously hurt our chances in the game.

Some may say they didn't have MCW but Harden + Asik >>>>>>>> MCW

Pacers can't keep both Stephenson and Granger if they want to stay under the luxury tax. Both are also unrestricted free agents, ie lose both for nothing in free agency.

The Rockets can take that gamble if Llull is ready to come over.

Lebron is a great defender, Bosh is a stretch 4, the only weakness on the Heats team is a defensive C.

On the other hand, it is too obvious Rox lacks a defensive wing. It has nothing to do with chemistry, luck, or not.
