I think Asik can play 20+ min....I'm glad they are putting TT starting lineup experiment on haitus.....but it doesn't mean they can't put Asik and Howard together during the game. This should have been the approach all along, instead of starting them.

I for one believe team chemistry is much more valuable than personnel changes, in the long run.

Today's basketball is about speed, conditioning, dexterity, spacing, ball sharing and play execution. They have become more important than ever.

Mchale is old school. He believes in the post, drawing fouls, rebounds, congesting the paint, player size and most of all, he wants to win it with the bigs. He is truly outdated in the evolution of basketball.

So... may I suggest that your lineup plays directly into Mchale's hand?

Wow Zach Lowe really ripping the Rockets perimeter defense.

Called Parsons and Lin BAD defenders.

Said Lin has been a bad defender his entire career.

Said that Harden can be a huge liability defensively when he does not try.

Zach Lowe would be correct. Without a rim protector, the Rockets defense is bad. Asik really covered up a lot of mistakes last season. Howard is doing it this season. TT isn't working because it adds a slow PF to an already strained defense.

Its not working to start the game, that is clear. But the 3rd QTR stats for TT are not bad.

    No surprise.
T Jones played really well last game with Dwight.
Just rest the TT idea for now

    They should experiment these lineups:
PG: Beverly SG: Harden SF: Parsons PF: Jones C: Howard
PG: Lin SG: Harden SF: Parsons PF: Jones C: Howard
PG: Lin SG: Harden SF: Parsons PF: Howard C: Asik
PG: Beverly SG: Harden SF: Parsons PF: Casspi C: Howard
PG: Lin SG: Harden SF: Parsons PF: Casspi C: Howard

I think the twin towers idea with Howard and Asik is crazy and I think trading Asik to New Orleans and teaming him up with Davis is crazy as h377 because that twin towers could work... That kid is ball'n and giving him a bodyguard like Asik would be dangerous. Plus a trade for Asik could possibly bring a better player and or with more upside than Ryan Anderson and I think TJ is probably better than Anderson RIGHT NOW (at least defensively). People around here talk about Anderson like he's good.... Lol..

Also, how comfortable are you that Camby is going to come back and if he does how useful will he be...??? He was dead in the water last year. I think they should keep Asik all year and let him back up Howard. And Asik and Howard may be good together come playoff time when the game slows down. Especially if what Olajuwon is teaching Howard sinks in and he develops some post moves.
