You could see from the kickoff that they were going to try to keep everyone behind the ball. On the road, you have to go forward. They've had a couple of ventures towards the mexican box, but nothing even remotely dangerous. NZ really needed to get a draw out of this and there's little to no chance of that now. They'll have to push forward and that's only going to open things up on the other end.
I wanted to see NZ take it to Mexico. The Mexican team will struggle in the world cup, as they have trouble scoring. This defensive style has allowed Mexico to get in an offensive rhythm. Game over, 4-0 at least, unless NZ changes their attack. Letting a team have the offensive advantage in a hostile crowd is not the way to play. Bad move, as Mexico has proven the last 2 years that they don't even know how to create with space. Awful coaching. Fire that guy immediately. KNOW YOUR PERSONEL!

It was tongue in cheek - and my kids teams were powerhouses, now we are in Division 1 select - or at least my youngest is.....I get to watch others coach now. And, uh, some are really good, some suck....mixed bag. DD
