Because the wife is a lefty I learned to eat with my left hand when sitting to her left.

I actually started doing this a long time ago because of steak! Got tired of dropping the knife just to grab the fork from my left hand.

Ok, I wanted to get at least 50, before responding to the poll numbers. I know this is a tiny sample size, but according to the poll there are 36% who consider themselves a lefty or ambidextrous... That's way off of the estimated 10% lefty, 1% ambidextrous numbers that I've read about. I wish I knew exactly why those numbers are so high (I have my opinion), the only thing I can say is that we (CF's) are totally rogue and don't follow the standards of society.

(P.S) We also have the obligatory person with no legs or arms.

Mixed handedness is estimated at 30% according to Wikipedia, so not that uncommon

There's no choice for "mixed preference of hand usage" that many of us do... POLL FAIL.

There is nothing wrong with the poll SwoLy, if you want to call yourself ambidextrous that's fine, that's your prerogative. I have two hands, and I use both so I guess I'm ambidextrous as well.

I think i was born a right, but for whatever reason my parents assumed me to be a lefty. So far all activities that require precision (writing, throwing), I'm a lefty. But whenever I need to use strength, I have to use my right hand.
