Funny thing is, I don't think they do it on purpose or realize the hypocrisy of their thoughts. Blunt people do not immediately see the forest for the trees but when they do realize their double standard hopefully they do change for the better.

Thanks for responding,I don't mind if someone will give an idiotic and stupid response as long as they don't brand you, then you can at least give your general idea about a certain topic.

If Mchale is committed to winning,he needs to gather these players Parsons,Harden,Dwight and Lin, give them at least 2 days including him to bond together.I believe that this core if they support each other will go far deep in the playoff.Set aside the misunderstandings and egos, winning a championship is a sacrifice. They can't do this if they don't have a good relationship

Cue the "Jeremy Lin is a Joke" thread.

I've got my eye on some of his haters. Still looking for Dei, GlenRice, SuperStar, Jose and a couple of other chaps. Can't seem to find these guys all of a sudden. Where could they all have gone to?

Tinman and nono also seem to have slunk back into their holes. Weren't they having a laugh when Eremy's jumper was a bit awry last season? Looks like Jeremy not only got his J back, but has improved it to the extent that he is having the last laugh on these fools. And he (Jeremy Lin) is not even done with his improvement yet.

Man, its good watching the haters proved wrong again and again and again and again..... ;)

One legit criticism that Jeremy deserves is his reluctance to shoot 3's. It's ridiculous how many 3's he'll pass up. Considering this is one of the easiest things to fix, and will improve his game the most (ie. less turnovers, more efficiency), it's maddening.

The problem is you are associating his "6th man role" to his more efficient productivity. Keep in mind he started most games this season and his worst game of the season was being that '6th man'. Kind of throws out your post. He is our best pg and common sense dictates that he should start and play at least 33mpg. Our offense has struggled in the first quarter. Heck our offense relative to last year has sucked major balls. I attribute that to two inept shooters at the 4 and 5 and Harden's usage rating going up at the pg position while Lin's going down.

I disagree. Lin is much better suited as a floor general but will not get the opportunity to do so unless he proves himself further. Until then, it will remain a debate that probably won't die down. If Lin were to improve on his 3 pt shot even more so than now and continues to stabilize past 40%, would he be considered a 3 pt specialist? No. Lin may be decent at scoring as a combo guard, but he could be great at running a traditional run n gun, pnr offense as evidenced by his year under D'Antoni.

This exactly what I was thinking. These LOH's who claimed to be objective Rockets fans are noticeably silent of late. But if they were true Rockets fans, wouldn't they be here cheering the much improved Lin on?? smh

Thank you for pointing this out. It blows my mind how many people are crediting Jeremy's stats on him now being a bench player. Even now he still has more games as a starter and like you pointed out his worst outing was being a bench player. People need to stop parroting what other say and just put a little thought on what they think they are saying.

<3 would rep you a million times if I could.

All those points are spot on. It's the main reason why Lin is an inspiring athlete who transcends sports. His tireless work ethic and will to overcome obstacles and still improve is inspiring.

I feel Dwight has it easy, because of his size and athleticism, he can dunk and box out people with less effort than most. Having height can be a big advantage. In terms of skills, post moves, FT's those things are still a work in progress.

I can't say much for Harden as I haven't followed him much.

People need to relax on Lin and keep nitpicking on him all the time. I feel he's already playing the value of his contract, with his level of improvement and dedication. There's lots of players who don't even care about the game anymore after they get paid or see this kind of improvement. (Landry Fields comes to mind). We should all just enjoy the fact that the team is hungry and wants to work together to win.

Let's be honest though. LOFs make it very difficult to speak positive things about him on a message board. A lot of us are just freaking annoying.

lol the LOH are waiting to pounce, and when Lin has a bad game (which he will, probably more than just one), you will see them come out of the woodwork :D

I'm okay with that because Lin doesn't give up easily, it's part of his game now, proving haters wrong.

These are great numbers but if Jlin wants his team to succeed then he gotta shoot more 3s, especially if he's open. Right now there's only one player on the rockets shooting above .400 and that's Lin. There only 3 players in total shooting above .300(Garcia, Casspi, and Lin), and yet out of all of the Rockets important pieces, Lin is shooting the least from 3's. With the Rockets struggling from downtown, Jeremy gotta step up in this regard.

Has the coach ever mentioned about Jlin's 6th man's role openly?
What I heard from the commentators during those away games was: Jlin's had Been outplayed by Pat Bev, hence the "demotion" to the bench!

My poiny is, If you are clearly the better point guard in the team yet your starting job is taken away for whatever strange reason, you better move and look for the next employer more worthy of your service.

Nothing against Pat Bev here. He plays with heart and soul and i admire him. Just feel sorry for Jlin.

Lin is shooting efficiently and his defense has improved BUT he definitely hasn't been perfect this season. His number one weakness (TO's) has actually gotten worse if anything. He's third among PG's in turnover percentage despite being the secondary ball handler on the team and the 4th scoring option.

Not only that but his assists have gone down. I don't expect him to be averaging 8 or whatever with the role he's currently playing but 4 is far too low.

The shooting improvement is a pleasant surprise as I've previously stated but this team is going nowhere if his turnover woes continue. The leaving his feet and throwing it to the opposition **** or throwing bounce passes to Asik/Dwight **** has to stop. I think it's the main reason for McHale's reluctance to run the offense through him.

McHale was a 6th man himself. He definitely knows that it's not important to be the starter. Lin is currently doing very well this year so I don't get why people are clamoring for him to be a starter if he's getting starter-type minutes. I'm just happy that I don't have to cringe anymore when Lin shoots a jumper.

I still don't understand what an LOH is. Because most people that criticize Lin do not make their accounts just to hate on Lin. A more appropriate name would RFTCL: Rocket Fans That Criticize Lin.

I agree. Those 4 players are the core. Unfortunately, doesn't seem Asik is anymore.

He's heading to the rim a LOT more. You would expect his TOs to go up. If he is averaging an extra TO per game (works out to ~1pt for opponents) but scoring 3pts per game more, then that is a price I'm more than willing to pay.
