You guys need to watch more NBA games if you think this is going to be a cakewalk. Turner has been playing extremely well, The Hyphen had some huge games, Hawes looks like a damn Ryan Anderson or something out there,Thad is Thad. This game is by far not a guarantee by any stretch, they play every team tough and they don't really have quit in them.

MCW is too new to NBA to have good handles, Bev will be too much an harassment.. I bet 4 or more steals out of Bev and Jlin from MCW alone.

Knicks will be coming off a b2b too, so it evens things out a bit. Need a win today for momentum.

Just outrebound them by a respectable margin, we win.
actually, the next four games are highly winnable. if our guys put hearts into them, we can go 9-3 until we meet Dallas.

    go Rockets!

MCW style of play reminds me of Lin both on offense and defense. And that's a compliment to MCW. Of course in the end we win. :)

Yea. Sixers has taken on a moreyball approach thanks to Hinkie; they look alot like us last season, with a strong run and gun offense and lots of athleticism and stamina.

The Sixers don't have nearly as much talent, but they're going to be running a high paced, run and gun offense.

In other words, we're going to need to guard in transition and push the score. Taking a small lead into the 4th won't be safe. Run up the score or take your chances in the closing minutes.

On the very bright side, defensively they're terrible. So long as we play our game and share the ball, we should find open looks. Just have to hope the shots go down. :)

Defensively I wouldn't say we're much better off. Theoretically we should be. Practically speaking we're not. I'm expecting something reminiscent of the Lakers game to happen.

If Mchale is committed to winning,he needs to gather these players Parsons,Harden,Dwight and Lin, give them at least 2 days including him to bond together.I believe that this core if they support each other will go far deep in the playoff.Set aside the misunderstandings and egos, winning a championship is a sacrifice. They can't do this if they don't have a good relationship

I think the cold is spreading because this team is way too touchy-feely with each other.

*sigh* Guess it's going to take some time to get through the flu bug for the team.

On that note, Harden and Parsons should probably just sit this one out. A banged up Harden does us no good over an 82 game season, especially this early in the season. And Parsons shooting has been in the toilet. I think some rest would do him a world of good. It's really hard to make a jump shot when your back is banged up.

Hoping either Bev or Garcia can make it for this game, otherwise we'll end up being crazy short handed if Harden and Parsons are both out.

Let's not forget we have another game tomorrow, so let's not break our guys this early in the season. After New York they get 2 days rest until Denver, then another 3 days of rest so pace these guys a bit, then hopefully they're all good to go for the Minnesota game.

With the 76ers being a decent match up for us (107 points allowed per game) and New York being a turnstile on paint defense with Tyson Chandler out, this is a perfect time to rest up Harden and Parsons.

We should have enough offense with both of them out (and better defensively), not to mention it's a good time to give some of the other players some minutes.

I hope Harden gives Durant the cold so he doesn't go off on us again
