I think Mchale needs to watch and limit his minutes...last season he average like 38-39 min per game, that's ok for a young man to play 1 season but if you want to keep him at the top of his game for long time, limit him around 36 minute per game.

Anyway, according to Feigen, Harden's playing. Hopefully he's not another Tracy just waiting to happen...

Harden is still the same, I really hope he realises he's hurting the team or McHale will sit his ass down!

James Harden said he was not a gametime decision, said he's playing. He is under the weather & still dealing w/ his feet issues. - csn

Omri Casspi will play with strained left knee ligament, but still struggling with it. - feigen

To that, add Casspi's left knee, Harden's left foot and Parsons back spasms. All expect to play, but Parsons will need hours of treatment on back spasms - fiegen

Add Francisco Garcia to list of Rockets battling flu symptoms. Harden, Lin, Howard, Smith, too. Garcia seemed to be especially struggling. - feigen

Perfect time to expand the bench. Bring out Brewer/Jones/DMo, let them get some reps in. Knowing McHale, slim chance it happens.

McHale's gonna run this team into the ground before they even get to take off...give these guys some rest if they need it. Its not like we dont have guys just warming up the bench.

Man just rest him. Don't have him push through minor injuries, we know he's tough. It's good to know if he sprains an ankle in the playoffs he's not going to sit...but this ain't playoff time.

I think the team can lose Harden and still win regular season games. We still have Dwight and he has shown he can carry a team (even last year when Kobe went out) so Harden can get a week or so of rest and come back dominating like we know he can.

We need James healthy for the playoffs. He should at least sit for the Philly game, we shouldn't need him to win.

And honestly maybe he should just stay home from this road trip entirely. Come back for the Denver game hopefully healed up.

I just don't understand why can't we let Harden to rest for a week or two to get back to his best condition.
He still has long career life ahead of him.
