Love is like the PF version of Harden though. Except being a bad defender is a lot worse when you're a big man. Minnesota just doesn't have any defense on that squad, is the problem.

I watched some Wolves games and the funny thing is that you can't really recognize him during games because it doesn't seem like they run that many plays for him. He scores on either layups or three pointers.

He doesn't seem to be a good shot creator (for himself) and he doesn't seem to have a good post game wither which is even more impressive when you look at the box score and all of the sudden you see 27/15 and you're like "really".

This guy is pretty amazing but he still needs to get better, especially playing back to the basket and of course defensing at least your position.

Love and Martina re a deadly one two punch on offense with Rubio distributing and a top top coach in Adelman instead of a clueless one we have in Mchale

Only 8 games, but they're 5th in defense right now. Better than they are on offense (9th).

If you want to discuss him at length you could just go to the Wolves boards. He is not a Rocket and probably never will be.

Like you said though it's only 8 games.

Look at their roster and tell me they're going to be an above average defensive team.

Christ, just look at that starting five.

I hear you! He was my first round pick last season, he got that hand injury the day after our draft  I still finished 18-0 in my league, but lost in the championship :(

We all knew Kmart was a great 2nd or 3rd option. Didn't work out well in SAC or HOU cause he was the #1. And in OKC he didn't get enough touches. Found the perfect role in MIN

Does it really matter HOW he's scoring if he's been consistently getting 25ppg with good FG%?

Rubio got a tripple double passing to those two snipers who rarely overdribble and play in RA system. wolves going to be even better when Bud comes back.
sg sf pf who can all shoot. Heck even Pekovic had 25 pnts last night in RA system. Plenty of touches in RA's system for everyone

No, not as long as he is putting up those numbers. But it is pretty suprising to see a player with no go to move to put up those numbers.

Over Anthony Davis? I'll take Davis. You can have the three pt shooter.

Love has more of an established track record than Davis... I certainly believe Davis WILL be better, and I would take him over Love right now if I was building a franchise around one player... but is Davis definitely, for sure better than Kevin Love RIGHT NOW? That's highly debatable.

Love has never been the best PF of any year, yet. So, it's just as much speculation for you to say that he's the best RIGHT NOW, as it is for me to say he is not.

This is the NBA Dish. The place to talk about what happens around the league. It doesn't matter if he isn't a rockets player as long as this isn't being posted in the GARM.

On topic: he is doing great. lets just see if the team can stay healthy, if they can then they will make the playoffs

I'd say he established him self as the best pf during the 2011 season.

Wolves are winning because they play great team D. Look at the Spurs individually and other than an old Duncan, they play great D.

K-mart looks like he added some muscle and he's playing the best D I've ever seen him do. Him and Corey Brewer are great wings along with Rubio, they neutralize dribble penetration very well, so Love/Pek don't get exposed to often.

    He does it again!

    33 pts / 8 rbs / 6 assists

    10-16 FGM-A
    1-4 3PM-A
    12-14 FTM-A
