More related to his play LOL Yeah, that's what they want you to think.

Ed Reed spoke out, they weren't happy, they released him. Sure, since he was demoted and wasn't playing well, that made it an easier decision.

If it was because performance, the likes of Randy Bullock, Derek Newton and Joe Marciano would be without a job.

It's one thing to speak out if you are a great player that is playing well and have been in the organization for a long time. If Andre had made those comments, I'd have no issue with it.

Ed Reed has done virtually nothing positive this year. Hasn't even sniffed an interception which is part of what we brought him here for. We are 0-7 since he put on the uniform. I realize that may be a convenient coincidence, but I just get the feeling that he was not a very welcomed addition to that locker room and really messed with the team attitude and chemistry. He just reeked of a guy collecting a paycheck, and that isn't gonna fly on a team that has been a winner and made the playoffs two years in a row.

This season has been a disaster for a lot of reasons, but number one on my list is the decision not to make Quin an offer and sign Ed Reed.

He got exactly what he wanted.

And can he sign with another team?

Can you blame them? He's adding negativity to a negative situation all the while contributing nothing. Should've kept going though and made a few more cuts.

I guess when keeping it real goes wrong, but I guess he still gets paid. I think Rick Smith and Kubiak should also have been fired.

Wow the personel decisions made by the Texans (sure Smith will get the blame) are really looking good!

    1. Matt Shaub $62,000,000 contract extension (BENCHED, SOON TO BE RELEASED)
    2. Arian Foster $43,000,000 contract extension (OUT FOR SEASON - BACK SURGERY)
    3. Brian Cushing $56,000,000 contract extension (OUT FOR THE SECOND STRAIGHT SEASON)
    4. Ed Reed $15,000,000 free agent signing (RELEASED)
    5.Trevardo Williams 4th round (IR)
    6. Sam Montgomery third rounder (RELEASED)

One HELL of an 18 month run by the Texans big wigs....

    but McNair doesn't care....

2012 value of Houston Texans $1,200,000,000
2013 value of Houston Texans $1,450,000,000

Get a head start on that house cleaning.

The Texans have made a lot of bad decisions, but to say McNair doesn't care is idiotic. The team would be worth even more if the team was performing better.
