Should we look to Jeremy Lin to be our closer as opposed to James Harden?

Should Jeremy Lin be our closer instead of James Harden?

  1. Yes, Harden makes me soften.

    50.8%
  2. No, Beardsanity > Linsanity.

    49.2%

I think the only concern is that Harden would be unable to pass to the open guy with the hot hand. He did set up Lin for that nice 3 pointer tonite so maybe things are starting to turn.

I suppose there is a difference between handling the last possession and taking the last shot.

Am I the only one who thinks Harden's ball handling is also shaky?
He doesn't have a great first step and he finishes left most of the time.

he was slow today, because of illness

his handles are good for a SG, he usually beats the defender with his two steps and power

Actually, the Pelicans were the first team that exposed him, when they packed the paint and forced TO from Lin when he's caught in air with nowhere to go, thus ended the 7 game winning streak.

    Really, people?

After LA loss, "Lin sucks, he caused us the game"; now after this win, "Lin should be the closer?"

Can everyone just cool down? It's a 82 game season.

    This so much.
Lin is now the closer and better than Bev defensively.
    According to recent studies.

Lin should be the closer not because he's the better shooter then Harden but because he passes the ball. Hardens makes some amazing shots but doesn't make any high % player/shots.

This thread is so full of ignorance it's astonishing. Did you not watch the game tonight? Harden is such a ball-hog . Lin has been playing very well but he is not on Harden's level.

The most important thing is that both Harden and Lin are scoring threats.

Any bad game for Lin is the game that exposes him for all the flukey games where he puts up good numbers.

if HArden has a bruised foot? then yes, you know what you're going to get dribble dribble cross over, 18-20 footer with a hand in the face! Unless he's healthy enough to drive as well (you saw how kyrie irving got his game winner the other day?) then I'd rather not see that contested J as the last shot.

Players don't get better after age 24. Just ask Lin fans, they say it all the time.

People here seem to think buzzer beater FG% and regular game FG% are the same thing. They are not. Harden's overall % may be higher long-term but his buzzer beater % is dismal...especially during nationally televised games. He does not do well under pressure. He's a great shooter - just not as good at the end compared to the rest of the 48 minutes.

Well what about when Lin dropped 38 on the Spurs when Harden was out last season. Jeremy always seems to step up when Harden isn't playing that great and seems like the perfect complementary player. Now settle down and quit ur racist trolling.
