Nothing Lin does will please haters, particularly r****d haters. Lin only played the 1st playoff game at OKC bad but the whole team, everyone, was bad too. Go check the stat. He played well in the 2nd game before the injury. Only r****d haters will blame an injured player.

Didn't JR Smith Win 6MOY last season? Where is he now? Forgotten like every other Knicks that isn't Carmelo Anthony right now.

No wonder Rockets management did not bother looking for SG backup for harden... They finally managed to convince Lin to be one...

after all, even with Bev, Lin has been playing SG role..

Who cares, if Lin can keep this up for the year hes a lock for 6th man of the year IMO. He'll always have a place in the league as an explosive scoring guard.

The Raptors were doubling James almost as soon as he got it and he did a good job finding the open man more often then not. However he stepped up when he needed to in the 2nd OT.

Chandler Parsons has issues regarding to boxing his man out. He conceeds with to many offensive rebounds.

Who said they were perfect? They played horribly.

As for the FTs taking away from FG attempts thing, we got 20 more FT attempts than them. That takes away 10 FG attempts at most (likely less than that). So they still put up 20 more shots than us.

The Raptors aren't perfect in any way, and no one (least of all me) is claiming that. I'm just giving a reason why they were in this game when we had a bunch of players that had good games.

Turnovers, offensive rebounds, and poor FT shooting are huge reasons why the Raptors didn't get blown out.

That's just nonsense! Lin took over the starting PG role from Douglas when he had Linsanity. In order to get more team wins, Lin needs to get more time to gel with Howard. It's better for the team. I think a close game like this really helped the team to build up chemistry. Great win indeed, I won't say it's ugly. Seriously, the coaches need to make better end-game decisions. The Rockets should've won before the end of regulation.

I don't think the 15 is cap hit. Only 89 million of it counts against the cap but the owner still has to honor the 15 million.

    Lin's Stat over 4th quarter - 2nd Overtime.

    16 Pts, 4/8 from the field, 2/3 3Pt, 2 Reb, 1 TO, 0 Assist

Linsanity! He is shooting well so far this season.

That's what I thought as well - i.e. cap hit was 8mm per year but cash hit is 5/5/15. But their post was saying the cash hit is also 8mm per year if you're not NYK. That would give the JLin contract a whole different look

I'm not really arguing that. I guess if you see him passing up open looks (especially late in the clock) a lot that is a different story. Whether he passes on to many open looks might be the real debate.

I like his shot selection. He's still a point guard - he tries to get people going, and sees if he can get a higher percentage shot for the team.

Yes and no. The cap hit for Lin in his third year is $8.3 mill if he is traded (it would have been $15 mill for knicks). but he would still need to be paid $15 mill in third year.

The hate for Beverly is pretty sickening. The guy has been nothing but support of JLIN since last year. Bev is probably one of the most loyal guys on the team.
