If Howard takes his FTs seriously, this game is long over... Sorry I had to say it.

You know Harden likes to handle the ball (PG) and Lin was a SG in college.

I think the Chronicle should quote you on this.

    Not a bad idea!

well raptors pretty much got him to be their franchise player. And who pays $18 million to some random shooting guard?

I think Toronto was dead last in assists per game. We are 26th. Not much better.

Ugly win but I'll take it. Need to rest and come out ready for a B2B that the team can get some W's

He was balling as a starter last year particularly post ASB. Starting or coming off the bench don't matter he is still an above average PG.

This was a good win but I don't think it should have taken this much to beat the Raptors.

I still can't understand why after performing so beautifully when they go in to Dwight they decide to abandon that approach altogether.

Even though it was the Raptors, it was a fun game to watch. Double overtime is always a special thing. Sure we played a little sloppy and need to tune the engine, maybe get a little oil change, spark plugs. Who knows, it could be just the air pressure rather than the alignment.

We just need to figure out a better way to get the ball to Dwight in the deep post. If only he had a jump shot, ANY jumper would do. Add that dimension to his game and he would be the complete package. Blake Griffin added that jump shot to his repertoire and it's a nice look. I'd also like to see Lin run the pick and roll with Dwight more often to see where that would go.

    Sorry!

    8. James Harden may not always play defense, he may be hurt, sick, or whatever, but the dude is a straight up "basketball assassin." He has the heart of a champion and ice water in his veins. Blink twice and he will get you.

McHale was a 6th man himself so I think he respects the position a lot. Plus in this game he gave Lin twice the time on the floor that he gave Bev (May have been due to Bev's fouls)

Are you kidding? Sixers have Brett Brown (one of the best coaches in the league IMHO) and a talented young stud in MCW. They are definitely not tanking.

If we could trade McHale for Brett Brown, I'd do it in an instant.

it's something you can't teach. history of NBA has shown that. only few of them has really improved their FT%

Howard really needs to enroll into a free throw school... We need those damn points.
