Jeremy Lin won't shoot 3pters and it's killing the team.

how about this? Lin should be a little more aggressive at times. his shot is looking really good.

I haven't caught every game this year, but it seems he still hesitates sometimes in the games I have seen in some uncontested or lightly contested catch and shoot opportunities. I would guess he probably passes up a very good opportunity at least every other game on average if not more. For him to be a more complete offensive player, he does need to work on making more lightly to moderately contested 3s as well.

 

If he's as good as all the stats presented in this thread, why is he playing only 30 minutes a game?

 

Beverley and Harden are good players as well.

 

I will say that so far this season the 2 players I have noticed passing on shots I thought they should have taken are Parsons and Lin.

I still just think this team is trying to get used to playing with each other. Just seems to be an overall hesitancy on offense sometimes. I know our offense hasn't really been the problem compared to our defense, I just believe we can and will be better on offense as the season progresses.

 

I guess there are some factors like whether or not he gets the green light to set-up his own shot, his recent sore elbow, not getting the looks or whatever. Lin worked hard on that 3-pt shot, he should use it. He hit clutch shots b4, I can't see why he can't again.

 

If you're defending Lin, this is not the thread to post to. It was almost out of the front page until you brought it back to the top. Why? Don't answer that. Just let it die. It's an awful, ridiculous thread.

James88, it is your fault that Lin is 1/4 so far. You are jumping up and down that a Rockets player is shooting even when he's not feeling it and missing.

Y'all can question what he does all you want, but watching a game is different than actually being in it. I'm sure he's heard it all anyways.
