he wants to play, but cant in MIA.

he certainly can't cost more than a 6th or 7th rounder.

Good idea? Bad idea? Probably immediately better than Newton

    Alright Richie.

I think he might be gay, which isn't a problem, but I'm sure that's why Incognito is being a total douche to him.

Regardless he's talented and we need lineman, I'd absolutely do it.

    PASS.

Not playing that well, and do not need any additional issues in the clubhouse.

At first I was thinking of Doug Martin...didn't Jonathan Martin lose his starting job? And regardless of your opinions of that whole incident, how could any locker room trust him again?

Good buy low opportunity. Texans have a solid lockerroom. Wouldn't hurt to pick up the phone. No way he is worse than Fat Predator.

If he pulls that **** here he's going to get murdered.

The better plan is to bring back Bernard Pollard.

Then we have the threesome of Pollard, Jackson, and Swearinger injuring every opposing team's players on the field.
Maybe we can trade for Jamaal Charles so he can blow out everyone's knees.

i dont care how soft a player is if he performs on the field. he can be a big teddy bear at heart for all i care, as long as he is solid on the turf.

martin was a 2nd round pick. anyone know how he was playing this year?

He did not play well when on the field this season. If he were performing at a high level this would not be an issue. However, the fact that he has played poorly makes his other issues even a bigger concern.

If you run a franchise, the fact that so many players have come to Incognito's defense has to make you wonder. Do you really want any additional distractions in your clubhouse? Do you want a guy that may ultimately get a coach and GM fired?

Forget all his other issues, not a good football player.

For little investment, I'd be willing to find out if his on the field issues might have been attributable to his lockerroom problems.

You could make the excuse that he wasn't able to play to the best of his ability due to the off-field issues. I mean usually the offensive line is the most important part of a football team to use teamwork and work in unison.

I'm not making excuses for him, but that could be the issue. Also, it might be the fact that everyone is trying to cover up some part they took in driving Martin out of wanting to play in Miami. Just saying what you see and hear isn't always 100% fact.

Martin is really a RT. They experimented with him at LT this year and the result was in season trade to bring in McKinnie to start at LT and move him back to RT.

Really want to trade a late draft pick for an average RT?

Also, Martin has stated that he will likely not play football this year. If nothing else, he will not play until this whole Miami investigation is done, which may take the entire season.

The question shouldn't whether he's good or not. The questions should be whether he has more potential than Newton.
