Don't kid yourself. Haren is far far away from being a superstar. If Haren is a superstar, then there are at least 15 other superstars in this league
That was obvious during the game so no surprise. Harden did this hit out of bound flop a few times last year and I think they just called him out of bound. With him being called out now, it's not going to work again. Stop with the flopping.
Expected fine. It was just too obvious. Hope this doesn't hurt much of his credibility. His game will really be lowered if they call those fouls for him.
Well, 5k means nothing to players making multi-millions a year + endorsement. Flopper should be suspended like a technical. Make them hurt.
If NBA want credibility and is very serious about getting rid of flops, any team should be able to submit a video that show clear flopping to the league for consideration. And the submission should be public (video made available to all). And the penalty should be a bit more than monetary. Have some points system where it get used to decrease your chance at a higher draft pick, used as part of your playoff tie-breaker formula, or even actual points consideration (you start with a negative score).
lol the video is hilarious hahah. So how do they 'pay' the fine? Do they send a cheque to NBA or it gets deducted from their pay and then becomes tax deductible?
Stop stawmanning their argument. I haven't seen many posts calling him a straight up bad player. He sucks at D and holds on to the ball too long sometimes which are legitimate complaints... or do you disagree?
That's why I am campaigning to change "LOH" to "LH". Gotta get the term right! Anyway, if there is a LOH, I would give the honor to tycoonchip.
The Clippers are the worse, yet it was Harden that get the first fine of the season. Yes Harden's flop was obvious, but the way the warnings and fines are handed out does not seem fair for everyone.
