For you its doesn't make any sense because you are so smart!Anyway Barg is a serviceable player we don't need his rebounding,he can defend the 4 because his agile ,we have Dwight to bail him out if he loss his man ,if you put Asik w/ Howard our defense is so slow and the scoring option is very limited.And trading players are not just talent ,GM are doing it to strengthen their core either it is now or next season.

 

Lin was great at lobbing it up for alleyoops during linsanity.

You are suggesting trading for a 7 foot center who plays like a shooting guard who gets 2 rebounds a game, allergic to the key on offense and defense, constantly loses his man, doesn't know how to rotate on defense, can't really pass, and shoots the three inconsistently. Oh forgot to mention he's getting paid 11 mil and 12 mil in the next two years.

The Raptors probably threw a parade after trading him away.

 

Dwight failed to set hard Pick, how would he expect to get comfortable feed from PGs.

Check how Tyson sets pick, even Jared Jefferies did a much better job than Dwight on this!

If you want a "stretch" 4 so badly, why not just start DMo then, he's not that big of a fall off from Bargnani and he's not getting paid all star salary.
