Man, I don't want Chalky to die either. I was mad that Nucky wasn't taking his side. Chalky is right, he saved his life when everyone was against him. The Doctor is a good character, him going to sit down with Nucky where he didn't belong was bad ass. But I hope Chalky kills him.
He is not who he claims to be, don't know what his angle is though. Really enjoyed this season, it's a bit slower I suppose but that hasn't bothered me. Glad Michael Shannon is getting more screen time. I like his turn to the darkside. The FBI agent is so awesomely, smarmily easy to hate, really well written character and a great job by that actor.
Anyone notice the Potato Chip STORE on the boardwalk? Thought that was a nice tough. Never knew there were stores dedicated to chips back then. Also, is Van Alden the first guy to ever make it rain?
i showed this clip to my wife so when i come home with a pistol on my belt and a fat wad of cash she knows what to do
i think most people expect it to be action packed, i love the character development and the stories, this season has been great so, torrio set up capone? and does chalky blame nucky?
On both accounts i think u are probably right. I mean if I were Chalky i'd probably blame nucky. Chalky is starting to become a f'n awesome character. Looking forward to the rest of the season.
I love this show! It just feels like nobody watches it... At least among my friends. Either way, the last couple of episodes have been great. Chalky White has been great this season. So many, "Oh *****" on the edge of your seat... hold your breath type of moments.
Enjoyed this episode, except for two things. First wtf was chalky and his men doing after shooting the men in that storefront. Instead of finishing off the people they were shooting at by continuing to shoot or laying in wake or entering and finishing them off OR quickly escaping, they instead choose to causally turn their backs, put their guns away and walk to their cars WTF??? Thats was an incredibly stupid written scene, atleast have narcies men coming around a corner and running them off or something instead. That one scene nearly ruined chalky for me. Second thing was, did nuckys brother turn on him because nucky hid the thing with his son from him OR did he turn on him because the agent threaten him with prosecuting his son. In the earlier episodes i thought it was the former, but now it seems to be the latter. If it is the latter, I have some trouble believing that he would fall for that empty threat.
I think Eli flipped because of him trying to keep his son safe. He has been hesitantly giving info to Knox and I think when his son said he is okay with everything and wanted to fight, Eli might end up changing his mind and be loyal to Nucky again.
i had the same sentiment, but i think there is a difference in killers and assassins, and i think chalky and his peeps dont fit that category, in season one he tortured that klansman but i dont think he killed him, you could also call it inexperience, perhaps they thought the job was done and since no one was a professional they didnt bother to check
The doctor must go! That dude is a snake. Really hope Chalky can make it out alive. I want to see more Chalky and Harrow. What a bad ass duo
started this show last weekend, already caught up. Pretty damn good. I started out hating Nelson but his storyline is so damn interesting.
These last few episodes have just been insane. Really seemed like Chalky was destined for death but escaped with his life, really tense set up. Can't wait to see how it all plays out and the FBI guy needs to die badly.....
Loving this season. Chalky might think Nucky was behind the plan to take him out. Will be interesting to see how that plays out.
