Lol how the GARM acts after a small losing streak.

    2 weeks from now

4 game winning streak, Harden averaging 32ppg during streak

    "IS HARDEN BETTER THAN LEBRON!?"

Superstar? Are you aware of 'super' exactly means?

Do you know who the Rockets drafted in 2002?

That hikanoo guy is the best example, but I've noticed quite a few former YOFs who had disappeared for a while, only to start posting again once we got Lin.

No, it was a stupid ass question. Harden was 5th in the NBA in scoring last year, was an all-star, third team All-NBA, and he's 24 years old.

The hardest skill to find in the entire NBA is the ability to create your own shot at high efficiency.

Harden is one of the only players in the league who can do that. He is probably in the top 3 or 4 offensive players out there as a result.

That is why he is a superstar.

Because he is the complete triple threat offensively, he can shoot from deep, get to the basket, get to the foul line. There have been times he has deadset carried our team particularly last year.

He is an elite PnR player (lets run some more of them) and damn near unguardable on his night. One of the ditinguishing factors some believe between superstars and 'very good players' say Kevin Love, is the ability to get their own shot. Create something from nothing. Harden can do that. Hes only 24, still very young, and finding his way in the league.

IMO, he isn't there quite yet. Defensively he just seems to be entranced by the ball and just lose sight of everything. But that can sort of be remedied, Steve Blake and Redick flying by I hope is due to his foot problems.

I can play this silly game as well:

What has Lin accomplished? An undrafted, Divison III player; a turnover machine; horrible handles for an NBA PG. Has had stretches of terrible games, a playoffs no-show. Let's face it, Lin is a flash in the pan, a guy who's fooled everyone with short flashes of stellar play. Have you ever heard of any team picking an undrafted, turnover-prone PG as their starting PG?

Had I posted such garbage, Lin fans would (rightfully) cry foul. But here you are defending it since it fits your warped view of "fairness." Get some perspective.

It was a horrible question. Try to use your head when starting a thread next time.

Maybe be cause he is one of the best offensive players in the game. There is no need for you to drag down HarDen. He has been injured all year, we saw that he looked good in preseason.

Bad thread, it's kind of like crying.

This. Some YOF leftovers are now Lin fans, posting for the first time since Yao left.

I think the term superstar has been used here loosely. When you throw out the term superstar you think of Bird, Magic, Kobe, Shaq, TD, The Dream, LBJ. I think Harden is more in the Gilbert Arenas league, I hope he proves me wrong.

Those are like once or twitch in a generation players

You technically don't need one to win a championship

i see Harden as a tier lower than those guys, in the Nash, Dirk, Wade tier of players, but he's still young.

Everything except "played bad in 2012 finals."

He was the sole reason his team got to the finals, if you watched the OKC-Spurs series.

He is a top 5 player in the league.

You are knee-jerkin. Or an old YOF who is now a LOF that hates Harden.

Harden isn't in the league of Nash, Dirk, Wade... aren't they all MVPs? And a couple have won chips?
