Smith probably should've played in this game. Run some PnR between Lin and Smith to try and get some quick points It worked in the last Clippers game.

We don't know the teams, just that Morey said he got calls for Lin.

Or possibly a troll pretending to be a Lin fan.

    Yes i see your point

I even told myself "man, if ever you want to see what deja vu looks like, just look at the rockets play." It's the same story every effin game. Lol

But you know what we could still play twin towers, ya know. Not just asik plus howard.

    I'm thinking howard+dmo, smith, jones.

    Or asik+dmo, smith, jones

LA is owning Houston this season.

    No answer. Ugh.

Maybe McHale is trolling everyone. Twin Towers experiment isn't working so just keep using it. Ball movement, PnR was working in the 1st half so stop using it in the 2nd half.

Clippers have a better team built around their 1 Superstar in Chris Paul. They run plays and set picks to create open shots and lobs to the basket.

Rockets are trying to build on their 2 Superstars, Harden and Howard, and adding a 3rd superstar, maybe a 4th or 5th .... because Morey just knows how to collect talent, he doesn't know how to build a cohesive team.

Morey did pretty well building cohesive teams around Yao and McGrady before injuries did them in-- Scola, Battier, Landry, Artest, Hayes, Brooks, Mutombo etc., even Von Wafer, all functioned well with those teams.

As for this one... give it time. The Clipper "core" have been together for 2+ seasons, and they have had the opportunity to find guys to fit around their stars via trade, mid-level exception, etc. The Rockets have been together for 7 games and have not even touched their assets to build around Howard and Harden.

The Clippers traded their most valuable asset, Bledsoe, for Redick and Dudley. They even traded a 1st round pick for Doc Rivers. They used the MLE last season on Crawford and the Bi-annual excetion on Grant Hill. They also used this year's MLE on Matt Barnes and Darren Collison.

Meanwhile, Morey has not traded Asik or anyone else since signing Howard. The team still has all of its 1st round picks and own some foreign players and 2nd round picks from other teams. The team hasn't even spent its room mid-level exception yet.

LMAO. I'd say this is unbelievable, but it's actually expected.

Beverley had a great game and a lot of you can't stand it.

This. TT is the problem. It could not possibly be more clear. Not sure if there's pressure from the FO to run it, but I refuse to believe McHale is doing it voluntarily. It. Does. Not. Work.

That stat was a little bit misleading. They all have positive rating due to the extremely poor play of opposite players during the end of the 1st quarter.
For your reference such players are:
    Byron Mullens 1 1.6 0.0 159.6 -159.6
    Reggie Bullock 1 9.0 50.3 139.8 -89.4
    Willie Green 1 4.2 56.3 112.6 -56.3
Those players shot 1-5 in that stretch. Casspi and Garcia combined for 2-11 in the game, which kind of led to us not being able to increase our lead in the end and cancel out the poor play of the clippers players mentioned above. So I wouldn't say Casspi and Garcia did a good job, I wouldn't say they did an OK job as well. It's just that the opposing players were so bad.

super typhoon hits phillipines = lin's fault

    Beverly shoots 6-13 3-8 = Lin's fault

    Harden shoots 4-15 1-6 = Lin's fault

Obama misspoke about people being able to keep their insurance = Lin's fault

War in Syria = Lin's fault

Next to Harden, Beverly offensively had a pretty bad game.

If anyone actually follows his #'s he is more of a chucker than anything. Not starter material for me.

Harden should have been on the bench. I don't know what McHale was thinking letting him play with two jacked up feet. So we got no defense AND no offense from the 2 spot most of the game. Greeaaat.

That is at least a start and a positive.
McHale has to use those players.

I actually don't care whether he starts or not. Saying he had a bad game is absolutely laughable, but hey -- you got it. ;)

    That's not fair!

Mullens played 2 mins, Green 4 mins and Bullock 9 mins. Garcia played 20 mins and Casspi 18 mins. So you will have hard time to convince me that their stats resulted from playing against these guys.
