    Good point.

Sad thing is, you can't teach toughness or IQ. And we're stuck with McHale unless he gets fired.

I did not say we have no upside. It's just the West is tougher and our chemistry is bad right now.

We might not be able to get HC and if we get it still would be 3rd or 4th.
The Heat before Superfriends they had 3 guys who could average 24+ ppg and other goodies plus Defense.
Dwade won before Lebron joined and Bosh was averaging 24 or 25 and 9-10.

Dwight was averaging 17 and 12
Heat have 2, 3years of little competition (other than Indy) before the Finals.

We got it a lot tougher. Maybe we'll win one or two in the end but a lot of changes has to happen. McHale is old school and not a young motivator like Spoelstra who is willing to listen to Pat Riley and management.

He has had no hesitation in his shot this season. I'm hoping his elbow issue isn't long term, that would be awful :(.

He needs to take time off if it's to the point where he's not willing to take perimeter shots. Playing through every injury will catch up with him at the end of the season again. To be honest I want Harden to give himself time to heal too, it sucks that they're hurt at the same time.

Seriously. Who do you blame when you have two maxed players and may just be fighting for the 8th spot again? I know it's a long season, but it's trending this way.

Well parsons wasn't expecting the pass and also to be so free under the basket, that's why he blew the lay up. What's so good about having a whipping boy if you can't blame him for everything! TRADE LIN NOW!

Blake Griffin actually has some post moves inside. Blake and Deandre can set decent picks for Chris Paul. And they both attack the glass to get easy put backs. Look at the rebounding discrepancy between those two and Dwight and Asik.
Our Twin Towers doesn't rebound at nearly the same rate, in fact we get more rebounds when one of them sits down.

I blame the coach for this mess. Mchail doesnt know what he's doing.

Still going with the Tt to start the game and the third for 6 mins each..

A shortened rotation of 8 players, like why the hell do we have 12 players in the first place?

    A non existent playbook.

The non ability to discipline your players.

    It's just terrible

Basketball is a game of momentum swings and Lin killed it and that carried on to the fourth quarter.

Harden must be bullet proof 4-15 this game 9-24 last game no one ever blames him. lets just call them team losses and stop blaming one player. when one player plays badly the others step up that's a team. I seriously doubt when the clips and heat lost 3 this season they were finger pointing

The problem isn't that easy to solve, to be fair to Mchale. Think again, what you suggest is, let Jeremy Lin to make plays right? So Lin controls the flow, decide what plays to make, call pick himself right? Fine, so the "supposed to be" two superstars have to follow Lin's order, the PG who even can't get a guarantee starting spot and is turnover prone. Do you think it works? Would they listen?

Last year it is different. Lin's power is just behind Harden and everyone is listening to him, especially Parsons.

I don't mean to blame Howard for this because in fact he did make a lot of sacrifice by playing the PF position now. But his arrival did raise a power struggle within the team. Mchale's solution is to relegate Lin to bench so that H&H can dictate the ball and play ISO. This is not a"bad" answer if Parsons is still the one we know. What Mchale didnt expect is

    (1) Parsons, in this season, position himself as "the Bosh" and believe he has the quality to play ISO as well (as also partly because of the contract).

    (2) All the other players ignore Lin's play because "they are superstars" and why would they listen to "a bench player"?

It is an unfortunately miscalculation but it is destroying the team.

If Rockets win, it is Harden. When Rockets loss, it is Lin.

You need to wake the hell up. Harden is a problem. Yes, Harden is a very talent scorer and a biggest ball hog in the NBA, even bigger than Melo. Don't you see, once Harden is in the game, the flow of the Rockets just stop.

When the 2nd unit was in, they played unselfish team basketball. As soon as Harden came in, everything stop.

Sorry, as talent as Harden is, he will never win a Championship regardless what other talent you put around him. Heats won because LBJ is unselfish. He put team championship over his personal stats. Until Harden see this, he will never win a ring.

Well, Lin and Casspi helped shift the momentum when they checked in in the 1st Q. Are you saying the starters can't come in and shift the momentum back in the 4th?
